Having sweeps of the streets while allowing defacto illegal employment is quite an insane policy. It is sort of like allowing a liver transplant to a wet alcoholic. The side effects are not worth the candle. It is a policy doomed to political failure, and indeed an adoption of almost everything that you abhor. It is the road to defacto, indeed in time de jure, open borders. You need to rethink this one. We want he same ends, but simply don't agree at all on the means, or the moral aspects of harassing in their daily lives those allowed to work illegally defacto.

That's not the policy supported by John and Ken, so what's your point?

John pressed Hutchison a dozen times this afternoon about Illegal employer sanctions against lawbreakers in CA, and Asa dodged every time.

Have you missed that many of my posts?

As always, I support a Tancredo-style guest worker program which would require applications from the nation of origin. For further incentive, those Illegals now here who don't leave voluntarily would have the option of leaving the other way.
