ONTARIO(CA) – A series of Border Patrol arrests of illegal immigrants more than 50 miles from the U.S.-Mexico border will be reviewed by the Department of Homeland Security at the request of members of Congress, officials said Friday.

Actually, the two have agressively hammered and directly called all of CA's federal representatives asking for interviews to discuss recent lack of focus on one key area of problems with immigration: the refusal of Mexico to turn over murderers wanted here in CA.
It is true they only infrequently mention Boxer and Feinstein. It is also true that they are not a partisan pair. They are pushing issues that matter to Southern Californians AND draw listeners so they can sell advertising.
Frankly, the radio show was a helpful part in the ouster of former Governor Davis.

Illegal alien Ipolito Campos was sentenced September 17 to 22 years in prison for the attempted murder of Virginia State Trooper Howard A. Chambers in February. Officer Chambers suffered nerve damage and still has 25 pieces of metal in his body from Campos' sawed-off shotgun. The crime occurred when the FBI raided Campos' apartment on a tip that he had threatened to poison the water supply. Prosecutors argued that Campos should have been sentenced to a term longer that federal.
