John: "You've caved in the pressure from the Mexican consulate." Hutchinson: "No....we're going to enforce the immigration laws of our country." John: "Then why haven't you? Why do we have 2 million illegals in SoCal (John being conservative)?" "When are you going to close the border...when are you going to do your job...why do we still have millions of people piling over the border?"
Asa Hutchinson: "It's difficult to have a reasonable conversation with you because you keep interrupting me." "Should I pull border patrol agents out of Arizona when they are apprehending 16,000 a week to put them in California?"

Hutchinson: "No....we're going to enforce the immigration laws of our country."That's a very telling quote. Notice he did not say We ARE enforcing the immigration laws of our country.

Hutchinson: "No....we're going to enforce the immigration laws of our country." Yeah, right after the November elections, assuming all those expected Hispanic votes greatly outnumber those of us who want the illegals rounded up and expelled and their employers arrested.

Asa Hutchinson: "It's difficult to have a reasonable conversation with you because you keep interrupting me." "Should I pull border patrol agents out of Arizona when they are apprehending 16,000 a week to put them in California?" I thought the immediate short-term complaint was that existing Border Patrol officers in CA were stopped from interior raids. Hutchinson seemed to change the subject.
