Boys grow out of their clothes faster (at least mine do!). And there are more girls' clothes in the secondhand stores. But they all eat like starving wolves!
Ditto on the clothes - it's almost a teenage status symbol to say that your clothes are from Goodwill. I thought I caould make a gallon of milk disappear, my kids can drink a gallon the same afternoon I bring it home. Eat dinner, and 20 minutes later they're looking for snacks. I can buy a bag of apples or oranges and never even get one.
