I realize that a lot of people enjoy watching that show, and I'm a huge fan of Bruce Boxleitner-even if I'd never willingly watch one of his movies-but I just don't get that SG-1 series.

What does Bruce Boxleitner have to do with Stargate SG-1?

Again, my knowledge of sci-fi is very superficial.

Though I do recall Boxleitner starring in some science fiction/fantasy epic at some point in his acting career.
