It'd be easier just to recompile for 32-bit addressing. Even better would be rolling the entire server cluster up to Opterons and Adv. Server 2003 64-bit or even RedHat Enterprise Server 64-bit. Re-code for 64-bit and viola... trillions of address spaces and the bandwidth through the processors core to handle it. Not to mention scads of memory space most of the AMD Opteron boards come with.
