Conservative comic book fans? Pfft! As if.

Actually, I do believe that Avatar Press came out with a limited run of Stargate SG-1 comics last year. I don't know if its current or if they're still being produced because I live in a culturally impoverished area that does not have a decent comics shop.

Having said that, my real passion is for Gilbert Shelton's excellent The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers series. I have the complete set.

"Stargate" is probably one of the few underrated motion pictures that actually got progressively worse once it transitioned to television.

I realize that a lot of people enjoy watching that show, and I'm a huge fan of Bruce Boxleitner-even if I'd never willingly watch one of his movies-but I just don't get that SG-1 series.

I've never been able to sit through more than five minutes of that show, an entire one hour episode.
