I like the freshly packed, new snow.

Especially when it collects in drifts.

Then again, it usually takes on that murky, grayish black color that resembles exhaust fumes after a few days.

That's just the way it is in my neck of the woods.

I like the new snow too. Everything looks so clean and sparkly. Luckily, we don't have too many exhaust fumes so the snow looks clean for a long time.
