Yeah, that was quite an amusing thing to see.
They were all blarting out their methane ware and then 'sniffing the political winds' they were passing to gauge what was going on.
(I.e. as you said: they believed their own lies.)
We ought to roundup a few of our favorite left wing suspects eg, "The forehead", Kerry, Carville, et al, and take them to Vegas for a stand up revue. The customers would be rolling in the isles!!
