Had a shop teacher who had a scar running down a finger.
He jigsawed his hand once, nearly bisecting his index finger down to the second knuckle.
Looked pretty hideous even after it healed.
I zinged my right middle finger off a dato blade once when the board I was cutting a groove in bucked. Finger is still there and so is the scar.
