Michigan Rally for President Bush - Live Thread
Posted on 05/03/2004 5:11:53 PM PDT by BigWaveBetty
Live tonight on C-Span at 8:30 eastern, rally for President Bush in Michigan.
I predict there'll be a live thread tonight on Free Republic.
Also, look for Freeper Hillary's Lovely Legs on stage with the president. She's sitting on the top row of the bleachers, stage left, wearing a fuchsia coat.

Dan, do you have any idea what that's all about -- those small crowds Kerry is getting? Does that seem odd to you?

No....the BEST of the 2000 campaign was on election eve when he arrived at that huge aircraft hangar in...Arkansas was it?
As he walked in they started blaring "Don't stop thinking about tomorrow". Freepers where going nuts: What the hey?!
Then the needle scratched all the way across the disk and they started playing "Won't get fooled again" by the WHO. The crowd went wild....It was amaaaaaaazing!

Ho Chi Kerry refers to those Secret Service men as "SOBs."

Oh, I remember that.
But it was Texas. He flew back home, remember?

I probably shouldn't have listened to that speech, since I'll get to hear it again on Friday.
Great thread. Thanks for posting it for us.

Let's be fair. Kerry doesn't have to campaign in Florida...he's got his attorneys working on his win there. That's another thing Kerry's done that is just stupid beyond belief, making a bunch of racket about preemptive legal action. Despite all the hyperventilating in our media about how "Bush stole the election", most of us remember all too well the hell that Al Gore put Florida through back in 2000. Kerry's promise to make this election into Florida 2000, The Sequel will not go over well.

Not yet! (Thanks for the ping-a-ling!)
Let's see President Bush: charming, everyman, handsome, sexy, charismatic, down home, honest, kind, etc.
John F. Kerry: makes Gray Davis look alive & electable.

those small crowds Kerry is getting? I have an idea why the small crowds in FL. Every Kerry event includes Bob Graham AND they let uncle Bob speak. It's excruciating!

400 isn't bad most of the time, but for a presidential rally? 400 is about average for governor rallies that I've seen.(Both Granholm and Posthumus). Our county Right to Life got 800 for a fundraiser($50) with Alan Keyes as top speaker. That's the best I've seen for non presidential.
Gore got about 3000(If I remember right) in East Lansing. Bob Dole got about I'd say 2000 in Brighton(Livingston County - GOP stronghold) back in 96.
Kerry couldn't break 1,000? I'll gaurantee Dean would have. I beat Edwards would too. Same with Clark. I just have not seen any excitement over John Kerry. I've seen anti-Bush, but not FOR Kerry. There is a lot of anti-Kerry sentiment from many who have followed him so far. Not like the anti-Klinton sentiment, but enough negatives to cause problems.

Seriously, you all need to have that man institutionalized. He's REAL creepy, IMO.
Now, you can feel free to make any nasty remark you want about John Edwards so we'll be even. :-)

I'm not smart enough to operate a camera phone. I don't know how to store frequently called numbers in the phone I have. Do you really think I could learn to operate a camera phone in 4 days?
DIL will go to the hospital early tomorrow morning to have her labor started if she doesn't deliver overnight. I'm going to have 2 kiddlings for a few days. No chance I'd have time to operate a new phone.
