Mr Sherman must not of been very bright as at anytime the constitution can still be amended by 3/4 of the states concurring which could render that cluase null and void.

Mr Sherman must not of been very bright as at anytime the constitution can still be amended by 3/4 of the states concurring which could render that cluase null and void.The Constitution could be amended to allow anything, that's why the founders required 2/3rds & 3/4ths to ratify amendments.
