sherman was NOT a great anything, except WAR CRIMINAL! MASS RAPE, TORTURE & MURDER of helpless civilians is nothing but a WAR CRIME spree.

Confederate troops did these things at about the same rate as Union troops and to their own people, so was Lee a war criminal?
