So the original people weren't segregated? The segregation is from more recent inhabitants? What are you asking? The first whites in the Cape Town area were there alone, few if any blacks lived in the area. Conflict did not come about until the English took over and the Afrikaner moved inland and encountered the Zulu who was moving south.
