Me ? I was just pointing out FACTS , easily discerned from a careful ( heck, even a not so " careful " ) reading of the BIBLE.

What are the TEN COMMANDMENTS...suggestions ?

What about Jesus' attack on the money changers, in the temple, but force and coercion ?

What were all of those laws, handed out by GOD,in Leviticus and AUTHORITARIANLY used by the rabbis and kings of Israel ?

And the FFs were MORE than willing to use these laws and COMMANDMENTS as the basis for the laws to govern this country.

Instead of having a problem with me, take it up with GOD, as HE is the author; not I. :-)

God is, indeed, the Author. You are merely the mouthy know-it-all who wants to coerce people in His name. Kinda like the inquisition, I should think. Or perhaps that was too tame for you, mizz wonderlady.

As for Jesus in the Temple, He IS GOD. It was HIS FATHER'S house they were trashing. He has the right to do that. You don't. In fact, He did say something about going forth and being His witnesses to the world. I have YET to find where He said to get laws passed because we should get government to do our job for us. And remember, He said that His coming to earth, His death and His Resurrection brought forth a New Covenant to the world. The law is still there, but we are no longer subject to the law. We are now constrained to accept His grace. The law is merely there to show us that we NEED Him because, unless we can keep every jot and tittle of the law FROM BIRTH, we are doomed without Him. But you, Mizz Holier-than-thou, wouldn't be that well acquainted with all of that. You can barely get through the part about the law and coercing your fellows because you get your rocks off that way.
Pity. But then you are that, aren't you? (A pitiable excuse for a human being, that is.)
