Life, on earth, is short. God is going nowhere. What right do you claim, which gives you (the group of WOD supporterws, which you claim to be a part of) any 'right' to govern another's personal behavior? 'Society' can't be responsible for personal actions, by anyone.
Your continual reference to 'real conservatives' is an ignomanous attempt at declaring that your thoughts are the only ones that count. I diifer with that concept, and can give legions of conservatives, who agree with me. I am a 'real conservative, just as much as any other person believing in the Rights granted, by god, to man. The founders of our country dedicated these principles, to us, as well.
There is no reason that any 'conversation' about personal rights, and responsiblity, should be solely within the 'Religion' thread, simply because God is introduced. He is welcome, wherever two or three gather!

From time immemorial,no matter WHAZT kind of government was in place, there have been laws against immorality; even GOD issued them! Societies,even our own, from colonial times forward, HAVE had all kinds of laws governing personal behaviors.
