Jesus said that loving one's neighbor as thyself was the whole of the law. And like Paine, he also talked about how we should treat our enemies. Many other philosophers and regular people have said similar things.

I said that it would be what Paine was talking about that would be the issue at the Final Judgement. Whether Paine believed it, or Jesus said it, isn't going to be the issue. Jesus said that we would know who his disciples are because they love one another, not because they cite Jesus or Paine. The issue is whether you repent to your victims, not which philosopher convinced you to do it.
