PITTSBURGH - An 11th-grade student at University Prep 6-12 school in Pittsburgh was found in possession of 10 stamp bags of heroin, according to a spokeswoman for Pittsburgh Public Schools. Security said they became suspicious of the student when he arrived at school Tuesday morning and appeared to be under the influence. When staff members escorted the student to the office, spokeswoman Ebony Pugh told Channel 11 News that he placed three stamp bags in his mouth. White teenage unemployment is about 14 percent. That for black teenagers is about 30 percent. The labor force participation rate for white teens is 37 percent, and that for black teens is 25 percent. A new poll has found that youth in Israel are increasingly right-wing in their political opinions, and are overwhelmingly Zionist and loyal to their country. The survey, conducted by the New Wave Research institute for Israel Hayom and published in part on Wednesday, asked 11th and 12th graders to define their political position. PITTSBURGH — Police reponded to reports of a large fight at University Prep High School in Pittsburgh’s Hill District Monday morning. Officers were dispatched to the school at about 9:45 a.m. Ebony Pugh, a spokesperson for the Pittsburgh Public Schools, said 30 female students were involved in the brawl that began with an argument over a boy. Pugh said they were sent home and will face charges from a magistrate.

Four police officers were injured, including a female officer who was taken to the ground, after responding to a 200-person brawl outside a Pennsylvania high school Thursday. According to reports, the officers were injured as they responded to a fight around 3 p.m. near Allen High School in Allentown.
