Portland protesters for #Ferguson movement blocked the busy intersection of 39th & Belmont, got into several shouting matches with drivers, sung Christmas carol parodies that included “Deck the halls with rows of dead cops” and “Cop free Christmas”, chanted “What do we want? NO COPS”, got into more shouting and shoving matches, and were plowed into by one driver on Peacock Lane, which is home to one of the biggest Christmas light displays in Portland.

No one will receive the $25 million reward for the capture of Osama bin Laden, say U.S. officials, because the raid that killed the al Qaeda leader in Pakistan on May 2 was the result of electronic intelligence, not human informants. A man who was brutally stabbed by Brooklyn subway slasher Maksim Gelman two years ago had his negligence case against the city dismissed in court yesterday, despite the fact that two transit officers had locked themselves in a motorman's car only a few feet from him at the time of the attack.
