...The women of the Right are allowed to believe things that the women of the Left are not. They are allowed to believe there is a difference between women and men, female and male, and that those differences are real, not a false cultural construct imposed by a self-interested, manipulative patriarchy. Unlike Gloria Steinem, they can express their femininity in any way they choose to, without fear of being accused of a calumnization of the sisterhood. Even more, women of the Right are allowed to accept obvious things rather than engage in exhausting psychic gymnastics to get to a place...

Ashleigh Shackelford says she's owed everything from housing to free Beyoncé tickets. According to a piece on an "intersectional feminist media" website, "fat, black" women are owed reparations due to the "trauma" that comes with being one. "The case for reparations for fat Black b****** is: f*** you, pay us," self-described "queer, agender Black fat femme writer, artist, and cultural producer" Ashleigh Shackelford writes in a piece for Wear Your Voice. [Snip] What kind of reparations? She makes sure to clarify that, too: Let me be clear, though: when I say, "F*** you, pay me," I mean, "F*** YOU. PAY...

(CNSNews.com) – In a commencement speech Thursday to graduates of the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo., President Barack Obama said the U.S. military is stronger because women can now serve in all combat positions and because the U.S. is closing the Guantanamo Bay prison in Cuba. “And on this 40th anniversary of the first female cadets arriving at this academy, we are stronger because General Johnson leaves this institution, because Air Force Gen. Lori Robinson leads Northern Command, our nation’s first female combatant commander, and because all combat positions in our military are now open to women...

Donald Trump has a big problem with women. The presumptive Republican presidential nominee lags 23 points behind Hillary Clinton with women, according to an NBC/Wall Street Journal poll taken in April. It's become conventional wisdom that the combination of Clinton's gender and Trump's spotty record with women will lead to him getting crushed with female voters in November. But that's not necessarily the case. First of all, Clinton isn't as strong with women as she looks. Bernie Sanders beat Clinton by seven points among women in New Hampshire. A full 82 percent of women under 30 supported the male Sanders...

A woman who was cycling in Australia reported to authorities she was attacked by a kangaroo with a jump-kick that hit her so hard it burst her breast implants. Sharon Heinrich said that she and a friend were biking along a public trail in Clare Valley in South Australia when the kangaroo began to chase them. The 45-year-old cyclist said as the two began to ride past the beast, it gave chase then leapt at them first using its powerful legs to slam into her and then springing off to hit her companion, Helen Salter, 47. Both were knocked off...

recent “Charlotte Observer” editorial repeats common ignorance about efforts to protect the sexual privacy of women. “Yes, the thought of male genitalia in girls’ locker rooms – and vice versa – might be distressing to some"...... A woman has as much a right to be distressed if a male stranger exposes his genitals to her as a black man would if a white man showed him a hangman’s noose

The involution of Islam is just one side of the coin. The other one, which is not less horrifying, is the spiritual degradation of the West that welcomes the primordial predatory world with cute teddy bears, songs about peace and flowers The Islamic world of the Middle East is sinking into the gloomy and forgotten past: the Bronze Age, the world of slavery, human sacrifice, pedophilia, sexual sacred traditions, beliefs in conspiracies and now the most terrible - ritual cannibalism Beaten dogs and “donkeys-occupiers” In the 90s, when working on an article about homeless animals, I visited a shelter for...

The former secretary of state and Democratic frontrunner says she still encounters sexism on the campaign trail — even on the rope line. Hillary Clinton says while sexism on the campaign trail is not as severe as it was in 2008 when she first ran for president, it still lingers - even in her encounters with would-be supporters. [Snip] She also said that men fear ambitious women like her. "I think it's the competition," Clinton said. "Like, if you do this, there won't be room for some of us, and that’s not fair."

Ridhi Tariyal and Stephen Gire, an entrepreneur and a scientist, respectively, who met in an infectious disease lab at Harvard, were stunned by the vast number of women's health issues that go undetected. It seemed clear to them that there was a problem with the way that medical testing worked in women's health. The system is fundamentally reactive, waiting for an illness to be detected before it springs into action. But when a positive test result comes back after an annual check-up, it could be too late. "We had to come up with something that would allow women to find...

Who is best speaking for American women during this presidential campaign? Shockingly, the majority of women say that candidate is Donald Trump. In a national survey conducted between May 5 and May 9, polling firm Morning Consult asked 1,068 female voters, “Which presidential candidate does the most to voice your opinions?” Respondents had the option of choosing any of the three contenders still in the race: Trump, Hillary Clinton, and Bernie Sanders. Trump was the clear favorite, with 29% of respondents saying that he best represents their views, following by Sanders (25%) and Clinton (21%). While the differences are fairly...

The Asian restaurant I go to for lunch has CNN playing in the corner. There's a split-screen of Ashleigh Banfield with Nancy Grace and they are discussing Bill Cosby's legal troubles when the screen switches to a floating "picture wall" of all the Cosby accusers, mostly attractive blondes. It represents a silent portrait of presumed Cosby victims. Then they switch to a picture of Cosby being led into the courthouse with his attorneys. CNN's pictures scream "guilty" regardless what the ladies were actually saying (the sound was off).

new president is "extreme" in her politics because she's an unmarried woman lacking the emotional balance provided by romantic and family life, a member of China's body for relations with the self-governing island wrote in a newspaper opinion piece. In Beijing's harshest attack on Tsai Ing-wen since her inauguration last week, the new president was denounced as a flawed human being and strident advocate of Taiwan's formal independence from China, something Beijing says it will use military force to prevent. Tsai, Taiwan's first female president, has been criticized by Beijing for refusing to explicitly endorse the "one-China principle" that defines...
