White women have been dying prematurely at higher rates since the turn of this century, passing away in their 30s, 40s and 50s in a slow-motion crisis driven by decaying health in small-town America, according to an analysis of national health and mortality statistics by The Washington Post. Among African Americans, Hispanics and even the oldest white Americans, death rates have continued to fall. But for white women in what should be the prime of their lives, death rates have spiked upward. In one of the hardest-hit groups — rural white women in their late 40s — the death rate...

Sen. Barbara Mikulski (D-Md.) says women “pay more for everything.” “For we women, it costs more to be a woman. We pay more for everything,” Mikulski said during a rally for the Paycheck Fairness Act. “We continue to have to fight the battle of more expensive, medical care, child care, even dry cleaning. They charge us more to do our blouses than guy’s shirts. We women are tired of being taken to the cleaners. Pass Paycheck Fairness,” Mikulski said. …

President Obama will pay homage to women's equality Tuesday, according to White House officials, designating the Sewall-Belmont House and Museum, a historic house in the District that has housed the National Woman's Party since 1929, as a national monument. The site, to be named the Belmont-Paul Women's Equality National Monument, honors both the National Woman's Party benefactor Alva Belmont and Alice Paul, who founded the party and served as its chief strategist. Obama will deliver remarks at the house, which served as the party's fifth headquarters and is on Capitol Hill, on Equal Pay Day, an annual commemoration that aims...

Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin-Abdullah al-Sheikh attempted to justify the ban on religious television channel Almajd. He warned "weak-spirited" men who are "obsessed with women" could hurt female drivers. The cleric added family members would not know where their female relatives were if they were allowed to drive. . . . The sheikh is known for being outspoken and in 2014 claimed Twitter was "the source of all evil". He has also spoken out on animation films, reportedly issued a fatwa allowing men to eat their wife if they are starving and banned Muslims from playing chess.

A 25-year-old Louisiana woman made history this week after becoming the first female to enlist in the US Army Infantry School. Tammy Grace Barnett, a former police officer, took the oath of enlistment on Thursday at the Military Entrance Processing Station in Shreveport. Barnett initially planned to join the military police, before deciding she wanted to serve her country on the front lines.

Actions Speak Louder Than Words – This is an older interview with Ivanka Trump from October of 2015. However, within the interview you see why the progressive left (within Hillary Clinton Camp) is desperately afraid of Donald Trump. Candidate Donald Trump has an actual history of empowering, advancing, and promoting strong women within his organization. Everything about Ivanka Trump runs completely counter to the narrative the progressive left need to advance Clinton. In this interview Ivanka absolutely destroys the archetype ‘sexism’ approach.

That Donald Trump is having a serious problem with the women’s vote should not be a surprise as he is an anachronism in his outlook towards the opposite sex. While he has adapted to some degree, as he does employ women executives in his real estate development and marketing business, Trump is, as were many of his generation, a product of the male chauvinist mindset of the 1950’s and 60’s. I am a few years older than Trump and during the 1960’s I was also steeped in the then-prevalent male outlook towards women. The philosophical outlook of Playboy magazine and...

On April 1st, the combat exemption for women in the U.S. military was lifted. This means women can and will be involuntarily assigned to infantry and ground units. This also means that brutal and horrific violence against women is now legal as long as it comes from the hands of the enemy. The American public is largely removed from the military and we didn’t even hear a whimper from the fathers and mothers of America that their daughter on active duty now can potentially be assigned to a combat unit. It’s called orders. Choice is gone. This isn’t about women...

Sexism is driving women away from the GOP front-runner Donald Trump and the Republican Party, potentially providing a windfall to Hillary Clinton in a general election. But to ride women's discontent into the Oval Office, of course, Clinton has to win the Democratic nomination. And while she has maintained a strong advantage with women voters overall, she's not doing well with all women. White millennial women favor Bernie Sanders. Perhaps that's because the best rationale for Clinton's candidacy hasn't been effectively communicated to millennial women. There is a powerful case to be made for electing a woman president, and it...

Donald Trump missed a chance early in the presidential race to make inroads with independent female voters, but now the damage is done and analysts say the Republican front-runner likely can’t make amends with women he repulsed by spewing insults and sexist remarks. Republican presidential candidates have suffered a gender gap for decades, but Mr. Trump turned the gap into an abyss, which polls show will doom him to a sweeping loss in a general election matchup against Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton. The real estate mogul fared worse than his two Republican rivals in theoretical matchups against Mrs. Clinton, largely...

Steven Shepard of Politico wrote an important article last week about Donald Trump's "rock bottom" ratings with women. And his low standing with women has certainly become a much-discussed topic among pundits analyzing the Donald Trump candidacy. An overlooked story, however, is that Hillary Clinton, who might become the first female president in the history of the United States, isn't far behind in her unfavorability ratings among women. Our just-released poll shows that Donald Trump has a 68 percent unfavorable rating among women. But 58 percent of women say they view Hillary Clinton unfavorably. In fact, Hillary's unfavorable rating was...

(NBC) - Donald Trump says he regrets retweeting an unflattering photo of the wife of rival Ted Cruz, a rare move for the Republican front-runner more known for his boasts than backtracking. "Yeah, it was a mistake," Trump told New York Times. "If I had to do it again, I wouldn't have sent it." The retweet set off a war of words between the two candidates, and gave fresh fuel to Democratic candidates and other critics who marveled at a Republican presidential race that had descended into a fight over the candidates' wives. Trump retweeted the photo compilation showing an...

An executive at Donald Trump’s hotel chain was arrested for throwing a young woman to the ground inside the parking garage of his luxury Brooklyn condo building, law enforcement sources said. Nathan Crisp, 34, was charged with misdemeanor assault for pushing Sheneik McCallum, 27, to the ground twice inside the parking garage of the Avalon Fort Greene condo tower at 10:52 p.m. on Sunday, sources said. The pair got into a fight after McCallum pulled into the garage to adjust her child’s car seat. Crisp, who was trying to get out of the garage, told McCallum that her car was...

Plenty of buzz about this last night, especially among anti-Trumpers struck by the coincidence of Trump superfan Newt criticizing him publicly on the same day that an even bigger superfan, Ann Coulter, called Trump “mental” in an interview. (Matt Drudge, yet another superfan, is leading as I write this with the news of Trump’s campaign manager being arrested for battery.) Are Trump’s cheerleaders heading for the lifeboats because they know something we don’t? Nah. They’re still onboard, they’re just alarmed that the captain won’t steer away from that iceberg that keeps getting closer. Trump’s fans within the commentariat have, I...

A women’s underwear line is selling Bloody Marys Period Panties. They include a “Blood Dumpster,” which places a picture of the face of a U.S. politician “in the crotch of a pair of Bloody Mary undies, for YOU to bleed all over!” Additionally, according to the retailer’s website, “$3 of every Bloody Marys sale goes to a Planned Parenthood located in the state governed by your chosen Blood Dumpster.”

Members of Sunday morning’s panel on CNN State of the Union are oblivious to the barbaric, anti-Western practice facing hundreds of thousands of U.S. girls as a result of unbridled Muslim migration. When the CNN panel sought to criticize Donald Trump for his so-called sexist retweet that has monopolized the news cycle for several days, Trump’s senior policy advisor Stephen Miller punched back, slamming Washington’s political class and corporate media for expressing “feigned indignation” about a retweet while ignoring serious issues facing U.S. women. “The political class in Washington D.C. works itself up into a feigned indignation about things that...
