President Obama will pay homage to women's equality Tuesday, according to White House officials, designating the Sewall-Belmont House and Museum, a historic house in the District that has housed the National Woman's Party since 1929, as a national monument.
The site, to be named the Belmont-Paul Women's Equality National Monument, honors both the National Woman's Party benefactor Alva Belmont and Alice Paul, who founded the party and served as its chief strategist. Obama will deliver remarks at the house, which served as the party's fifth headquarters and is on Capitol Hill, on Equal Pay Day, an annual commemoration that aims to highlight economic disparities between men and women. The date marks how many extra days a woman would have to work to make as much as a typical man would have made in the previous calendar year.

‘Lady Parts Rights’ was never about ‘equal rights’. It was about getting women into the work force as another tax base.
He does this because his religion treats women so equal?
If they abolish maternity leave and the mommy track, women might have to work as hard as men and earn the same amount of money.

I was expecting a giant monument of something that gets "strapped on."
I would expect that we would have proposals for national monuments to homosexuality and transsexuals before Obama leaves office.
Also, I would imagine that reparations for “historical crimes” against homosexuals and pedophiles will come into open discussion during this election cycle.

Yes, get every adult in the workforce paying taxes to support the socialist state, and put all the kiddies in government daycare so they can be inculcated with leftist ideas from a young age. We can’t have any individuals running around thinking for themselves.
