Sen. Ted Cruz says he's being attacked by Democrats because his strategy on Obamacare has been successful. "The fact that you are seeing so many nasty partisan jabs from Democrats" and that Democrats ,including Senator Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.), "have not been shy in using all sorts of ad hominem inflammatory attacks" means that Cruz's message is gaining traction, he said Sunday on CNN's "State of the Union." Man dies after live roach-eating contest in Fla. Barack Obama is once again unleashing his formidable campaign skills as he prepares for the upcoming election. But facing shrinking poll numbers and growing discontent, this campaign is different from the one he ran in 2008. Gone are the calls for unity, the righteous rhetoric, and the hope and change. This time we see a more cynical and ruthless candidate, as Obama sheds all bi-partisan pretenses, accelerates his “transformation” of America, and at the same time attempts to expand his base.
