In a bizarre tale that would be more believable as a bad movie script, Nick Young of the Los Angeles Lakers claims a dolphin tried to drown him over his rapper girlfriend, Iggy Azalea. The story started earlier this week when Azalea sent out a simple tweet that read, “Nick is scared of dolphins.” Following the Lakers’ game on Tuesday night, Young was asked why he was afraid of dolphins. He then recounted a story about a time he and Azalea went for dolphin rides while vacationing in Cabo.

Washington (CNN)The President of the United States is willing to do just about anything to promote his signature health care law, and that includes wielding a selfie stick and dropping a "YOLO, man," on camera. In a renewed effort to get Americans to sign up for healthcare.gov before the Sunday deadline, President Barack Obama brought out his selfie stick in a video for BuzzFeed Motion Pictures. The video published on Thursday features Obama and BuzzFeed's Andrew Ilnyckyj doing "things everybody does but doesn't talk about."

GAFFNEY, S.C. - No, the Gaffney Peachoid isn't covered up because it's cold. The water tower is draped in a protective curtain as crews work to give it a facelift. Last year, work began to give it a makeover. Workers prepped the giant peach-shaped landmark by putting up a support system that allowed them to hang the curtain safely for sandblasting and painting. Now that the cover is up, they will start the make it look shiny and new. The project is expected to be finished by the end of the month.

A cashier at an Ottawa Loblaws grocery store has filed a discrimination grievance with his union, alleging he was told he could not wear pigtails to work. New Orleans police need help identifying a man seen in surveillance photos stealing several boxes of filet mignon steaks from The Roosevelt Hotel. CEDAR RAPIDS — There’s no denying the bond that develops between people and their pets. A miniature schnauzer in Cedar Rapids proved that nothing, even distance, can break that bond. By now, there have been so many banker-related suicides that it has become a moot point of i) tracking them all or ii) trying to find a pattern. And yet, one name continues to stand out: JPMorgan. The Knoxville Police department sent out a reminder on their Facebook page Thursday stating that flashlights should never be used in place of headlights in a vehicle. Officials say a Sweetwater resident was pulled over twice in an 18 hour period for driving after dark with only flashlights used to light up the road. The flashlights were reportedly strapped in with a bungee cord attached to the vehicle's bumper. The driver was first stopped by KPD in East Knoxville, then later by another officer in North Knoxville.
