Instead of keeping a departed loved one's ashes in an urn over the fireplace, why not breathe new life into them, in the form of a tree that can sit in your living room or outside on your porch? A new gadget helps you nurture life from ashes, and regardless of how green your thumbs are, it offers a way to keep loved ones close after they die. The Bios Incube, created by the company Bios Urn, is an incubator that monitors and cultivates trees from human ashes in people's homes. The company says the invention allows people to return...

Notes to Stephen Hawking's Personal Diary -- May 28, 2016 This Trump guy is utterly dangerous to the scientific community. Doesn't he understand that you can't teach the average working stiff anything about science and the way the world really works? I've spent decades writing books and lecturing to show that science can only be understood by professionals and academics who are paid a good salary to stare out into space and wonder about things that have zero relationship to life on Earth. And to protect that glorious profession -- keep it funded -- we've groomed our Ph. D's...

Every now and then, a distant star called KIC 8462852 dims by as much as 20 percent. That's huge. Even a passing planet as big as Jupiter would only block about 1 percent of the star's light. Ruling out a planet, scientists have no idea what could be eclipsing the star (which is informally known as 'Tabby's Star'). The leading hypothesis is a family of really big comets, but that doesn't quite fit. Astronomer Jason Wright pointed out that the light patterns are consistent with what we'd expect if aliens had built a Dyson swarm of solar collectors around the...

Anyone out shopping yesterday notice more transvestites than usual? In my local WalMart I counted 5 definitely and maybe 7 and no I didn't go into the bathroom. In a good year I'll see maybe .75 total transvestites in this lily-white, upper-crust area Wal Mart in the Capital District of NY. No pictures as I'm awful with my phone/camera and being sneaky. I realize evidence is crucial to the believability of this event and I am sorry, and that's why I'm wondering anyone else saw this. It looked like an organized event, or maybe the bus of a traveling Drag...

Let’s be frank. Human beings are a vengeful lot. They are emotional and strike back in the heat of the moment. Few have learned that “Revenge is a dish best served cold.” Whether we admit it or not, each of us possesses both a light and dark side. But in most cases, one or the other is in control. Very few people find total balance and manage to maintain that balance. Consequently, our lives are a continuous roller coaster ride. Shall we start at the beginning and revisit the famous pastoral couple — Adam and Eve? Since there is no...

Comas. Ha ha. There’s a funny topic. In the news recently was the story of a man named Jake Booth, who is a 35-year-old Army veteran living in Florida. He had suffered a heart attack as a result of a bad case of pneumonia and was put into a medically-induced coma. He woke from the coma on April 3, after a full 48 days of lying unconscious in a hospital bed. As he slowly opened his eyes, he saw his closest friends and family members sitting anxiously by his side, waiting for him to speak his first words. You would...

I didn't want to write about this, it wasn't important, didn't deserve exposure. The liberals however, the Hollywood communist liberal and in particular the plan by Obama to force us to allow sick men to use women's toilets have made it necessary. First of all, let me say that this is sick. An Abomination. And As mentioned by many I know as well as people in the videos down below you should watch, it is a sign of how evil and immoral America and the west has become. Michael savage is right when he said that Caitlyn Jenner is the...

Oh good grief, not this again. So, there’s this feminist who writes for the Telegraph in the UK and she was on one of their news shows talking about how air-conditioning is sexist. Somehow, she managed to say this with a straight face, which is a far cry from what I was doing as I watched this clown show – So, the women in her office building are standing around resembling human popsicles and her best idea was to go on TV and complain about it? Like, you didn’t talk to whoever sets the thermostat in your building and ask...

A member of the United Church of Christ’s former Executive Council and a transgender leader within the denomination has been appointed to serve on President Barack Obama’s Advisory Council on Faith-based Neighborhood Partnerships. Barbara Satin is the first transgender woman to serve on the advisory council. "Given the current political climate, I believe it's important that a voice of faith representing the transgender and gender non-conforming community—as well as a person of my years, nearly 82—be present and heard in these vital conversations," said Satin, who was involved in the church’s 2003 decision to affirm the inclusion of transgender people...

The following is a testimony by Maurice Newhope, who has stayed at Seattle's notorious share shelters and tent cities. Maurice Newhope is a conservative libertarian activist who has experienced homelessness in the past after he was wrongfully and unjustly accused of a crime. Despite having his name cleared, his arrest record has stopped him from finding work and he has difficulty. It is his third time being homeless in America. Maurice expects to get housing in a month or so in New Hampshire. He currently works part time in the Manchester Concord metro area. Maurice was enrolled in SHARE/WHEEL from...

On Friday I shared why I was feeling a bit bitchy, bigoty, and conflicted click hereAs a basic recap, my son's kindergarten class had a new intern last week: a male who appears to be transgendering, in desperate need of a training bra, and wearing drag-queen quality makeup. Writing the post on Friday was cathartic, and I had basically come to the conclusion that my son would probably not notice the things I did about the new intern and that any discussion on my part would be more harmful than helpful. I was wrong. He did notice it and brought...

FULL TITLE: Hampshire College Students Demanded Obama Or Beyonce As Graduation Speakers, Freaked Out When They Got An Asian Doctor, And Demanded A Transgender Black Person Hampshire College had their graduation this weekend and it was the sh--show everyone dreamed Turtleboy’s favorite hippie college would be. Don’t know how we missed this story from a couple weeks ago, but I literally spit out my coffee and started laughing when I read this paragraph:Hampshire College President Jonathan Lash announced that the college has selected a new commencement speaker in response to students who were upset that the original choice — Dr....

The Wizard Donald Sasse is in his house, with only his trusty Chihuahua, Lindsey. Suddenly there are loud crashes of thunder and lightning. The house shakes violently ad he is knocked to the floor. He feels a sense of motion as the house has been picked up by the tornado and transported to a far-away place. Then the house is in freefall, but seems to touch down fairly gently, though Sasse hears a loud shriek as it touches down. Sasse picks up Lindsey and goes outside to explore. A large bubbles approaches him and bursts and he finds himself with...

The women in black are as misguided, left wing and limp-wristed (more ways then one) Than when they were founded in Israel in the 1960s. Originally called Women in black for justice against war, they were founded by Israeli and Palestinian women, many widows who believed that the solution for the middle east crisis was, well... hippie values like communism, appeasement and more communism. They're biased against the US and Israel in favor of the Arab militants in case you're wondering yeah... The group has grown to chapters all over the world including most major cities in the united...

Imagine you’re in high school and you find out for the past 50 years, there’s been a massive annual party that everyone else just assumed everyone else knew about but you were never invited. And also, the party has glorious dance music, over-the-top costumes, and human-sized hamster wheels. That’s how it feels to be an American who is only now finding out about Eurovision Song Contest. From what I can gather, the European Song Contest is like American Idol in its heyday, if you took every boring white guy with a guitar and replaced him with a techno dancer in...

Shocking isn't it? Tent cities, refugee camps, they are all over America but in Seattle they are considered the norm. Today as of the writing of this article, one such tent city has been erected over Seattle city hall. It is illegally established and yet city hall not only tolerates it but is using taxpayer funds to promote it. They have but one demand. GIMME! GIMME! GIMME! The Tent city, dubbed Tent City 6 is run by two organizations of militant homeless bums called SHARE/WHEEL. Share stands for Seattle Housing and Resource effort. Wheel stands for Women's Housing, Equality...

What if? Think a few moments. Get over the initial anger. I'm still not saying it's good, but is it possible? would it hurt or help?
