Just hours after marking the disastrous conclusion of his mayoral campaign by flipping off news reporters, Anthony Weiner re-emerged in the spotlight with a smile on his face. The former candidate appeared relaxed and in good spirits when a photographer caught up with him outside his apartment building on Park Avenue in Manhattan Wednesday. The disgraced ex-congressman and sexting aficionado appeared to have rallied after his crushing defeat in the Democratic primaries, finishing his run with only 5 per cent.

New York (CNN) – The now-immortalized final moment of Anthony Weiner's failed New York mayoral campaign was the candidate's middle finger directed at a reporter curbside as his car drove away Tuesday night. CNN affiliate NY-1 captured Weiner flipping the bird on video as the candidate departed his primary election night party after delivering his concession speech, punctuating the end of his bizarre campaign and an odd evening.

Talk about going out with a bang. The last image New York City had of former Rep. CHAPIN, S.C. - This year's Chapin Labor Day Parade is hosting a few special guests. U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham is making an appearance at Monday's 34th annual event. Oscar Mayer says one of its Wienermobile is also taking place in the parade, which makes a one-mile route around Chapin's historic district. The day's activities include a talent contest and a gospel concert, as well as arts and crafts vendors and a food court.
