Apparently carbon footprint taxes and wealth redistribution are not enough, we must adopt progressive social engineering of the planet “Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me:
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.” - Emma Lazarus If you thought global warming scaremongering tactics went away with the most recent failed prediction for 2015 when we were supposed to be flooded and underwater, with little polar ice caps left, you would be mistaken. Writing for the...

SIERRA VISTA — Tuesday’s storm dropped marble-sized hailstones and more than an inch of rain on many parts of Sierra Vista, flooding streets and contributing to a rollover injury accident near the airport. It was just after 7 p.m. when Sierra Vista police received a report of a single-vehicle rollover on Highway 90 near Airport Road.

Things have never been this dry for this long in the recorded history of the state of California, and this has created an unprecedented water crisis. At this point, 1,900 wells have already gone completely dry in California, and some communities are not receiving any more water at all. As you read this article, 100 percent of the state is in some stage of drought, and there has been so little precipitation this year that some young children have never actually seen rain. This is already the worst multi-year drought in the history of the state of California, but this...

Concerned that the space allotted for on-board toilet facilities reduces the number of seats for passengers, the Boeing Corporation is converting all passenger seats on its 777-300ER into “potty chairs.” “Every additional passenger a plane can carry adds badly needed revenue to the airline’s bottom line,” said Boeing’s public relations specialist Anita Crapper. “We thought, if there were a way to convert the space set aside for restrooms into passenger seating it would permit airlines to earn thousands more per flight. By making every seat a ‘potty chair’ airlines can achieve that objective.” Ms. Crapper lauded this innovation as “far...

Unresolved economic and social issues associated with wind turbines Touting the power of wind and “the possibilities to reshape our energy systems, decarbonize our economies and boost job growth,” the Global Wind Day is coordinated worldwide by the European Wind Energy Association, the Global Wind Energy Council, and various national associations. Solution Wind, a global awareness campaign is also publicizing the wind industry in advance of the COP21 (U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change, also known as “Paris 21”) climate negotiations in Paris, November 30-Decemmber 11, 2015. The U.N. Framework Convention on Climate Change was one of the three documents...

Bahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! VIDEO: ABC 7 years ago, predicting NYC would be under water in 2015 because of global warmingStuff like this never gets old, and it never stops being relevant because, remember, the global warmists tell us we must act now or else their dire predictions about the future will inevitably come true. So what do we find when we look back on some of their past predictions? The Media Research Center did just that the other day, dredging up a hilarious (although not intentionally) report by ABC titled “Earth 2015.” You have to see this. It’s just a 53-second clip...

An entire generation has grown up and graduated from college since the first lies about global warming were unleashed On Thursday and Friday, June 11-12, there will be a gathering of some of the nation’s and the world’s leading climate change “skeptics” in Washington, D.C. and joining them will be members of Congress and their staffs. The Tenth International Conference on Climate Change will occur and the odds are that the mainstream media, as it has done for all the previous conferences, will do its best to ignore it. In attendance as well will be scores of scientists, economists, and...

When will new earthquakes or volcanic eruptions occur? I doubt anyone knows the answer to that. The president of the Space and Science Research Corporation, John Casey, is also the author of “Cold Sun: A Dangerous ‘Hibernation’ of the Sun Has Begun!” and has called attention to a meteorological cycle that until the global warming hoax occurred, was largely unknown to many people and, to a large degree still is. Nature has not cooperated with the charlatans who made claims about a dramatic warming of the Earth. Since 1998 the planet along with the Sun has been in a solar...

The liberal media machine has spent decades bulldozing anyone who tells you global warming is a sham. They even came up with a clever little title — “deniers.” Every time a heat wave hits, every time a picture of a lone polar bear gets taken . . . the left pounds the table for environmental reform, more policy, more money to combat climate change. But how much has the world really warmed? Their message is simple: Get on the man-made global warming bandwagon . . . or you’re just ignorant. But how much has the world really warmed? It’s an...

The clock has run out on the climate change debate. It's time for predictions to give way to radical action. For most of my career, I've been a trend spotter, sometimes referred to as a futurist. I've divined trends for companies seeking to innovate; anticipated consumer appetites; and kept pioneering brands ahead of the pack. My work has been a passion, a calling, never just a job. So, it was fundamentally disorienting when I realized recently, I'd lost my feeling for the future.Gradually, over a period of I don't know how long -- months? -- my usually strong connection with intuition...

FARGO – A former Zamboni driver for the Fargo Park District has been sentenced to serve 9 days in jail by a municipal court judge for driving a Zamboni while drunk during a high school hockey game on January 30th. Steven James Anderson's attorney argued at trial his client wasn't guilty of the Class B misdemeanor driving under the influence charge he faced after witnesses reported Anderson was driving the Zamboni erratically during a Fargo Davies girls hockey game against Williston at South Sports Arena. Prosecutors said Anderson had a 0.314 percent blood-alcohol content that night. Defense attorney Lindsey Haugen...

Texas' farmers were among the first to applaud the rain that abruptly halted a grueling multiyear drought that had tormented the region. But what began as a blessing has turned quickly into a disaster, as corn and wheat crops rot in flooded fields. "I think it is not all farmers, but some farmers are looking at a total loss for this year," said Mike Barnett, a spokesperson for the Texas Farm Bureau. "You have some situations where farmers had a bumper crop, and now they have next to nothing for the season." The downpour has doused Texas with 35 trillion...

Global warming hollowing out the brains of Democrats. A very prominent conservative gentleman named Wayne Allyn Root authored an article for PersonalLiberty.com, stating, “Conservative admits ‘global warming’ is real” on May 28, 2015. What I discovered while reading his article was that his headline statement about ‘global warming’ being real was offered as a tongue-in-cheek half-truth as a sort of spoof about global warming beliefs of liberal Democrats. As partial proof, Root explained, “Global warming is real and is warping Americans’ brains. Either that or Democrats are really, really dumb. They voted for Barack Obama . twice. They think our...

Texas is experiencing massive flooding and there's more rain on the way. Five people are dead, a dozen are missing, and 80,000 are without electricity. But at least one group will be taken care of despite this mayhem: Texas' shelter animals. Animal care facilities have, of course, been affected as well, so area shelters put out the call on social media that they needed help finding dry homes for displaced animals. Austin Animal Center made its adoptions free in order to get these pets out of the unsatisfactory conditions caused by the weather.

Bill Nye, who once called himself “the science guy,” took advantage of the torrential rains that hit Houston and the surrounding area to get up on the global warming – aka climate change – hobby horse. Tuesday, he tweeted, “Billion$$ in damage in Texas & Oklahoma. Still no weather-caster may utter the phrase Climate Change.” Of course meteorologists, unlike Nye, have spent their careers studying weather and its underlining causes. For a more scientifically accurate explanation of what caused the storms, read the Houston Chronicle’s excellent and fact based analysis.

Natural scientists agree that the climate is changing and that humans bear some of the blame. Social scientists are now attempting to assess the economic and political price societies are likely to pay for turning up our planet’s thermostat. The security policy community is especially eager for an answer. In the academy, the debate over climate change and its security implications gained momentum after researchers from Stanford, the University of California Berkeley, New York University, and Harvard observed that civil wars were more prevalent during years that experience hotter temperatures. The chief explanation for this relationship is that higher temperatures...

Obama’s is a fairytale world of golfing, partying and holidaying while guaranteeing that the life of the masses will be an every day nightmare President Barack Obama’s attempts to provide cover for Islamic terrorists by first declaring global warming/climate change “a national security threat” and then excusing their ongoing carnage with the absurd claim that it was global warming that set them off, must be the biggest political scam in all of human history. It was supposedly feeling the ravages of climate change that set Islamic terrorism on a worldwide rampage? How do the mainstream media, Obama’s so-called political opponents...

The Citizen Engagement Laboratory (CEL) wants news outlets to stop using the term “skeptics” for those who question the global climate change meme. Instead, those who fail to adhere to the accepted view are to be universally referred to as “deniers.” CEL Director Ronald Deibert complained that “using the word ‘skeptic’ makes opposition to our theory of global climate change sound reasonable. It implies that their assertion that evidence is needed to prove that mankind is the source of climate change deserves a hearing. It implies that the science of global warming is not settled, that differing interpretations of the...

The plain truth is: no commerce, no food, no freedom Civilization-gutting law has been on the books for decades. Over the last 10 to 20 years they have been molded into enforceable regulation that eviscerates gains made in Western living standards. This is the product of legislation that was purportedly enacted with some benevolent intent, but ambiguous language left the door open to divert the purpose for other results. In the case of environmental legislation, such as the Environmental Protection Act (1970), Endangered Species Act (1973), Clean Air Act (1970), Clean Water Act (1972) and now the Highway Beautification Act...

Early last month we warned that California’s drought was approaching historic proportions and that if climatologists were to be believed, the country may see a repeat of The Dirty Thirties as experts cite “Dust Bowl” conditions. Governor Jerry Brown has called for statewide water restrictions aimed at reducing consumption by 25%. Now, the conservation calls are getting much louder as the state’s water regulators have approved “unprecedented” measures aimed at curtailing the crisis. Via AP: California water regulators adopted sweeping, unprecedented restrictions Tuesday on how people, governments and businesses can use water amid the state's ongoing drought, hoping to push reluctant...
