Click on link for details about tomorrow's Great Gun Debate in London between Wayne LaPierre and Rebecca Peters, leader of the International Action Network on Small Arms (IANSA). It's the largest, most lavishly funded gun-ban organization on the globe and a primary force driving the U.N. gun-ban agenda. It starts at 9:00PM Eastern Time and you have to call your cable company to sign up for it. My cable company (Time/Warner) is charging $9.99 for the showing. Please tune it.....
  • London gun debate - Wayne La Pierre and Rebecca Peters (vanity)

    1st Sept 2004
Yesterday, I attended a televised debate on private firearms ownership at King's College Library, London, between Wayne La Pierre, of the NRA, and Rebecca Peters, Director of IANSA (International Action Network on Small Arms). It was a very civilised affair and though the audience was clearly passionate, it showed restraint for the most part and allowed the 2 debators to put their arguments forward clearly. Ms Peters' argument could be summed up as 'Guns are tools for killing people. Killing people is wrong, so guns are wrong.' She quoted various statistics to prove her point. I doubt that I need...

  • CNN Admits Legal "Assault Weapon" Fired Into Ground, Not Target (Wayne LaPierre Was RIGHT!!!)

Update on CNN's very distorted comparison of the firepower of a legal versus an illegal "assault weapon." In a Wednesday Miami Herald story, a CNN spokesman conceded that a sheriff's deputy fired the illegal weapon into cinder blocks, thus showing the firepower as chunks blew away, but when demonstrating a legal model, while CNN's camera showed the same cinder blocks being unscathed, the deputy was really firing into the ground, thus suggesting a difference in firepower when none existed.      First, some background. An excerpt from the May 20 CyberAlert: Reeling from NRA Executive Director Wayne LaPierre charging CNN with...
  • VIDEO: CNN Fraudulent Assault Rifle Test (Compare The Muzzles Firing)

Check out this VIDEO of the FRAUDULENT Assault Rifle Test perpetrated by CNN last week. I urge all of you to COMPARE the muzzles of both assault rifles as they are fired. In the illegal assault rifle you can clearly see smoke exiting as if real bullets are being fired. In the second assault rifle which is described as the legal one, you see NO expulsion of fumes from the assault rifle. Were blanks used in the second rifle? You be the judge but I sure would like to see this matter investigated further. BTW, did you see how large...
  • CNN 'backpedals' on gun story: Admits it misled viewers in comparing different types of weapons

Saying CNN may have deliberately misled viewers about the legality of various weapons, a leader in the gun-rights movement is lashing out at the network for incorrectly reporting that fully automatic weapons are banned under a 1994 law set to expire next year. "Either it was a deliberate attempt to fake the story, or the reporter had a complete ignorance of the story he's covering," Wayne LaPierre, executive vice president of the National Rifle Association, told the Washington Times. In two broadcasts last Thursday, CNN incorrectly reported that fully automatic weapons are currently banned under the Violent Crime Control and...

The 1994 ban could expire in September 2004 if Congress doesn't extend it.</p> <p>Now here's a sampling of your viewer e-mail.</p> <p>From David in Calhoun, Georgia: "It's not the weapon which has the knockdown power, it's the ammo."</p>

Reeling from NRA Executive Director Wayne LaPierre charging CNN with fabricating and "deliberately faking" a story last Thursday to demonstrate how a banned "assault weapon" has much more dangerous firepower than a legal model, on Monday's Wolf Blitzer Reports, substitute anchor Miles O'Brien didn't go so far as to offer a retraction, but he did concede CNN's demonstration needed further amplification.      On the May 19 edition of the 5pm EDT Wolf Blitzer Reports, O'Brien announced: "On this program on Thursday of last week, we aired a live demonstration CNN set up with law enforcement officials of a banned semiautomatic...

What a night. The Lansing Center was packed. Around 850. I got there about 4:15. There was a reception for the officers and our most decicated activists there at 5. The meeting itself started at 7. After the first business stuff was taken care of, the main speakers were introduced. First was Our next governor - Dick Posthumus. Posthumus is the ONLY pro-2a candidate for governor running.(David Bonior is 100% ANTI, not pro). To quote what he said "Jenny Granholm says Jim Blanchard is wrong. Blanchard says David Bonior is wrong. Bonior says Granholm is wrong. Well, they're all right!!!"...
