Dolezal had come under fire in the last week amid criticism she lied about her ethnicity. She previously claimed her father was black. Her parents, Larry and Ruthanne Dolezal, said they were of European descent. They also provided a birth certificate from Montana affirming they were her her parents and that they were white.

Spokane City leaders said the package arrived not long after resident of Millwood found KKK flyers in their driveways.
