On Tuesday’s broadcast of the Fox News Channel’s “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” the Federalist Co-Founder Sean Davis stated that the Federalist never got any notice from Google over the threatened demonetizing of the site, it appears NBC “partnered with a foreign left-wing group in Europe to go after us and to use Google to go after us.” And vowed that the site’s comments section will return. Davis said, “We never got any formal notice from Google. We never got any notice from their ad team. We learned about this from NBC News, from the reporter, Ms. Fraser, who emailed a general...

Mitt Romney’s former mountain estate — which the senator sold for about $5 million in 2009 shortly after an unsuccessful presidential campaign — has surfaced for sale at $15.5 million. Perched in the hills of Park City, Utah, the 16.5-acre property is tucked among forests of spruce, aspen and oak trees overlooking the Deer Valley ski resort. The sellers are artist and race car driver Hal Prewitt and his wife, Corinne, who’ve owned the home for 11 years. The snowy retreat centers on a log cabin-style mansion of more than 12,000 square feet. Across four stories sprawling down the hillside,...

Mitt Romney’s father, George, said in 1967, when he was a U.S. presidential candidate, that “the question of whether we are going to proceed on the basis of the Constitution would arise and at this point government leaders who were Mormons would be involved in answering the question.” Mitt Romney must be thinking about Mormons and threads at this extremely dangerous moment in our country’s history. I don’t see how he could help it. The White Horse Prophecy is not the sort of thing you forget, even if, like me, you have long since left the faith. Romney, after all,...

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) on Monday said his party has “an embarrassingly small share of African American votes” and would like to change that, one day after he marched in a protest in Washington. Romney said he is working with several Republican colleagues on legislation to “make some changes to the way we do our policing” in an effort to crack down on aberrant officers who violate civil rights or use excessive force against people of certain races. But Romney said he didn’t march for the cause Sunday because of politics but because he felt it was his moral duty...

A former national surrogate for Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., ripped into white congressional Democrats on Monday after they wore African-patterned garb and knelt in a demonstration against racism and police brutality. "I still can’t wrap my mind around the fact that they draped these white people in kente cloth to 'honor' him. This has to be hell," author Frederick Joseph tweeted, also arguing that black Americans are "being pandered to, and ultimately, disrespected." In a tweet thread, he argued that Democrats were failing in their attempts to be helpful amid ongoing strife surrounding George Floyd's death. He specifically took aim...

But, far sooner than they expected, growing numbers of prominent Republicans are debating how far to go in revealing that they won’t back his reelection — or might even vote for Joe Biden, the presumptive Democratic nominee. They’re feeling a fresh urgency because of Trump’s incendiary response to the protests of police brutality, atop his mishandling of the coronavirus pandemic, according to people who spoke on the condition of anonymity to disclose private discussions.

"No Americans should fear enmity and harm from those sworn to protect us. The death of George Floyd must not be in vain: Our shock and outrage must grow into collective determination to extinguish forever such racist abuse."

A fascinating result considering how he was polling after his fateful impeachment vote. I’ll give you three theories to explain it. A new UtahPolicy.com/KUTV 2News survey shows 56 percent of Utah voters either “strongly” or “somewhat” approve of Romney’s job performance. 42 percent say they disapprove. Romney is in a strong political position right now with a net positive approval of +14.That’s a massive reversal from our previous survey in March when just 36 percent of Utahns approved of Romney’s job performance, while 49 percent disapproved…69 percent of “strong” Republicans disapprove of how Romney is handling his job, but...

Utah police claim they prevented a potential shooting at a protest in Salt Lake City on Monday, according to multiple reports. Police and FBI agents were reportedly warned about threats being made by Yuri Silva, 27, against law enforcement through social media, according to authorities. Silva was arrested on the way to the protest, and four weapons, including an AK-47 and an Uzi, were recovered from inside the vehicle, police added. "With the severity of the threats, accompanied by the firearms located, we have every reason to believe that these arrests potentially saved lives," according to a release from West...

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) pushed back against President Trump’s claims that voting by mail disadvantages Republicans, noting that large numbers of voters in Utah, a Republican stronghold, vote by mail. "In my state, I'll bet 90 percent of us vote by mail. It works very, very well and it's a very Republican state," Romney told reporters on Capitol Hill Wednesday, according to ABC News. Much of the Western U.S. has voted by mail for years, and a poll released Wednesday found residents of those states are among the demographics most likely to say they would prefer to vote by mail...
