On Thursday, the George Washington University's Elliott School of International Affairs shared an article written by the school's Dean, Reuben Brigety, entitled "Donald Trump is a Nazi Sympathizer." In the article, published by Foreign Policy and promoted by the university, Dean Brigety explicitly calls the President of the United States "America's first Nazi-supporting president" and the "Nazi-in-chief." NEW BRUNSWICK-- Undergraduate students at Rutgers University's New Brunswick campus will see a 1.85 percent increase in tuition and fees this fall, or an extra $266 on their annual bill. The average in-state undergraduate on the New Brunswick campus will pay $14,638 in annual tuition and fees in the 2017-2018 under a plan approved by the school's Board of Governors. Rutgers is also hiking the cost of room and board by 1.5 percent. Including housing, the total bill for the average New Brunswick undergraduate from New Jersey will be $27,090, a 1.7 percent increase from the previous year.

Administrators at the University of Arizona are now accepting applications for “social justice advocates,” whose job it is to snitch on other students accused of bias. They’re also expected to hold educational programs about “the mosaic of diversity, multiculturalism and inclusivity” and maintain “social justice bulletin boards” in student residence halls.

A group of students at American University labeling themselves the “AU Justice League” have taken credit for ripping down anti-abortion flyers on campus. The campus’s College Republicans put the flyers up Wednesday night, and called for the defunding of Planned Parenthood. But by Thursday morning, the vast majority of the flyers had disappeared. A leading researcher on a ridiculed taxpayer-funded study of duck penises is now using her expertise on orca whales and is going to the "March for Science" to protest budget cuts. Patricia Brennan, a visiting lecturer at Mount Holyoke College in Massachusetts, worked on the duck penis study that received $384,949 from the National Science Foundation, a grant that was funded through the 2009 stimulus package. "Diversity statements" are used by universities in Oregon to weed out conservative and other right-leaning scholars at universities, a new report issued by the Oregon Association of Scholars (OAS) alleges. Per the report, the universities in Oregon (University of Oregon, Oregon State University, Portland State University, and Oregon Health and Science University) use a new kind of litmus test to single out conservative scholars: diversity statements. New York’s Columbia University announced last week it is hiring a full time “Coordinator of Muslim Life” to provide guidance and support to the Muslim community and opening up prayer space for all Muslims year round. This comes on the heels of heated demands and a petition from the Muslim Student Association (MSA), stating an advisor and prayer room is a necessity for the Muslim community because “hateful Islamophobic rhetoric” and “anti-Muslim violence” is putting the “entire community under enormous risk, stress, and insecurity.”
