A heated confrontation between a South Florida Starbucks customer and several employees is drawing national attention – and showing the continuing tension across the country since the election of Donald Trump. The viral video taken from the coffee shop across from the University of Miami campus on U.S. 1 in Coral Gables shows David Sanguesa arguing with a barista behind the counter, calling her "trash" and saying "Trump, Trump. You lost" while demanding his money back before again calling her "garbage" and "plain trash." A different employee confronted Sanguesa, who claimed he was discriminated against because he is white and...

“Where are all the conservatives?” Conservative Review Editor-in-Chief Mark Levin opened his radio program Tuesday by demanding to know why conservatives, thus far, are not being considered for top spots in President-elect Trump’s administration.

Democratic candidate Tim Benton cold-cocked Republican Brenden Jones at the annual Beast Fest in North Carolina. . . . “Mr. Benton kept nudging him with his shoulder the whole time they were walking across, and then he just stepped back and little and coldcocked him,” he said. “To beat all, he (Benton) left a little child in a stroller to walk across the street, and if Mr. Jones’ (companion) hadn’t caught her, the child would have rolled into the street,” Hester added.

“The few people who are still left are looking for an exit because they know TheBlaze is over,” an anonymous source said. “They haven’t told us straight up that they’re done with us, but all the signs point to it, and they’re not replacing people who are laid off or get out.” Other sources say they received emails that their health benefits were reduced. “We had everything when we started in 2010 — a huge platform and following — but management screwed it up with their incompetence,” another source stated.

There has been a lot of talk over this presidential campaign about the lack of enthusiasm for Hillary Clinton compared with the excitement and energy among Donald Trump’s followers. It is a bit overblown; there are plenty of highly enthusiastic Clinton fans who are very excited to see the first woman president. But it is nonetheless true that Trump has inspired a group of remarkably passionate and committed followers. And while many of these people have legitimate economic gripes that are finding expression in Trump’s “angry outsider” populism, what electrifies many of them is something else entirely. They chant, “Build...

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” network commentator Cokie Roberts said when Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump attacks his opponent Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton as “unhinged,” it is code for “we shouldn’t elect a woman.”

As far as ABC’s Cokie Roberts is concerned, Donald Trump attacking Hillary Clinton as “unhinged” is basically a gendered attack. Trump has recently taken to calling Clinton “unhinged” and “unbalanced,” implying she’s “not all there.” On ABC’s This Week this morning, Sara Fagen said that’s not the issue people have with Clinton, so that won’t be a particularly helpful line of attack. Then Roberts said, “‘Unhinged’ and ‘she doesn’t look presidential’ is totally code for ‘we shouldn’t elect a woman.’ That’s exactly what that is.”

In an echo of claims made following the San Bernardino massacre, a former co-worker of Omar Mateen, the dead suspect in the worst mass shooting in U.S. history, says that he complained to Mateen’s employer about the man’s “unhinged” behavior, but the company ignored complaints because Mateen was Muslim. Florida Today reports: A former Fort Pierce police officer who once worked with 29-year-old Omar Mateen, the assailant in an Orlando nightclub shooting that left at least 50 dead, said he was “unhinged and unstable.”

At a rally for Donald Trump, Sarah Palin bashed the protesters who have been interrupting Trump's campaign events."What we don't have time for is all that petty, punk-a** little thuggery stuff that's been going on with these "protesters" who are doing nothing but wasting your time and trying to take away your First Amendment rights, your rights to assemble peacefully," Palin said. "And the media, being on the thugs' side. What the heck are you guys thinking, media? It doesn't make sense. Well, you all get it."

Donald Trump is running riot in the GOP china shop and gleefully tearing the place up. Consider the strength of Trump’s position: If he wins South Carolina by a big margin, he goes into Nevada with momentum, and the latest poll there has him leading by 26 points and pushing 50 percent. If he enters Super Tuesday a week later having won three out of the past three states — and with Cruz diminished by a South Carolina loss and Rubio having won nowhere — he could easily win, say, 10 contests that day. It might still be possible to...

The man who suggested that the US shoot down Israeli airplanes is at it again. Surveying the Israeli/Hamas conflict, Zbigniew Brzezinski couldn't summon up one word of condemnation for Hamas' intentional targeting of Israeli civilians with thousands of rockets and mortars. Instead, Jimmy Carter's national security adviser had harsh words for only one person: Benjamin Netanyahu. Appearing on today's Morning Joe, Brzezinski said he didn't include Netanyahu in the category of leaders man enough to negotiate, accusing the Israeli PM of having "scuttled" peace efforts--again without a word of criticism for Hamas. Zbigniew ended his anti-Israel tirade by decrying that...

MSNBC host Michael Eric Dyson on Wednesday lashed out at Sarah Palin, accusing the conservative of committing "treason" against Barack Obama by calling for the President´s impeachment. The guest host of the Ed Show first praised the President for "his tireless effort to help [illegal children who have crossed the border]." Dyson then fumed, "The President´s push towards positive and crucial change was met with treasonous accusations." [See video below. MP3 audio here.] During the last administration, however, Dyson called for the impeachment of George W. Bush. In a highly edited clip of Palin on Fox News, the Republican insisted,...

I have wondered about Beck for a while, but loved his exposure of the communist network in the US. Since he left FOX...he seems to have changed...and the immediate disregard to the Bundy situation really made me sick. Beck didn't even give the guy the benefit of the doubt and touted the NYT version. I know he has risen to fame since 2001, ghost written several books, had rallies, etc....but to have a network, now? A base in NY....a major website (so buggy and full of cookies it puts me off). Does anyone else find this strange? And claims to...

Is there anything MSNBC hosts won't compare conservatives to? Consider Chris Matthews who began Friday's Hardball likening conservatives such as Glenn Beck, Ted Cruz, Mike Lee, Mark Levin, and Rand Paul - who have the nerve to oppose the budget compromise just passed in the House - to North Korean despot Kim Jong Un killing his uncle (video follows with transcript and commentary):

According to Chris Matthews, conservatives have gone from wanting to kidnap babies to "killing" them. On October 1, the Hardball anchor insisted that Barack Obama "will not give up his baby" to pro-shutdown conservatives such as Ted Cruz. On Tuesday, still angry over the partial-government closure, the anchor fumed, "Today and in the future, Cruz will be remembered as the one who ignited the fire of government shutdown and general political mayhem." Matthews added, "He'll go down in history as the Mrs. O'Leary's cow of the 2013 disaster." According to the liberal journalist, the "thug" Republican senator from Texas thinks...

Thom Hartmann ... and it was the unanimous decision of our judges! (cue applause) Alas, Hartmann will be unable to accept the award in person, seeing how the ceremony conflicted with the next round of his strictly monitored medication schedule ... (Audio after the jump). What exactly did Hartmann say to win such a prestigious honor? Listen here but consider yourself warned, you may want to first ingest iodine as protection from the radiation (h/t for audio,...

Democrats’ seething hatred of the Tea Party movement has clouded Democrats’ thinking and ability to govern **snip**We have seen similar irrational conduct by every senior Democrat, from Obama on down to Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, and so on. **snip**Since the start of the Tea Party movement in the late winter and early spring of 2009, Democrats have been demonizing the movement in the most crude terms. Every time there is a public act of violence, the immediate response is to look for a Tea Party connection, which never is found. It’s not surprising that in the past couple...
