1835 — DRAMA IN STOKE NEWINGTON There has been a surreal, dramatic episode at a school-turned-polling station in Stoke Newington, London, according to Guido Fawkes reporter Ross Kempsell. Kempsell reported on Twitter that the school had posters up in the windows apparently drawn by children, emblazoned with slogans like "We want change fund schools!" and "More books and libraries." Another message, seemingly writen by school staff, urged voters to "Vote with your heart, not by what the papers tell you!" Police were on-site, but the site manager apparently refused to take the posters down, threatening to close the entire polling...

After receiving formal permission from the monarchy, U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May will try to form a new government after her Conservative Party lost its parliamentary majority in Thursday's election. "I will now form a government," May said in front of 10 Downing Street moments after she spoke with Queen Elizabeth, "a government that can provide certainty and lead Britain forward at this critical time for our country." Noting the "crucial Brexit talks that begin in just 10 days," May said the new government will work to fulfill the will of U.K. voters who decided to leave the European Union....

As the UK Independent lays out the criticism, “What Mr Khan actually said was that there is no reason to be alarmed about the increased police presence on the streets after the attack.” However, some alternative facts have appeared that render this criticism meaningless. In an interview on ITV’s show Good Morning, Britain, former CNN host Piers Morgan, now an outspoken conservative working at the UK Daily Mail, pressed the mayor on jihadis returning to the UK from training camps in the Middle East. ITV reports:

There was no NATO when the U.S. stormed the beaches of Normandy to free France, defeat Hitler's Nazi Germany and win World War II. And the U.S. did it while fighting the Japanese Empire on a second front throughout the islands of the Pacific Ocean onto Okinawa and Japan, winning that war too.

Just last year, a documentary aired on the BBC called “The Jihadist Next Door,” which followed around a number of Muslim extremists in the UK who wanted to implement Sharia Law there, and had sympathies towards ISIS. By the time the documentary aired, one of the jihadists followed (named Abu Rumaysah) had already left for Syria and appeared on ISIS propaganda as an executioner. Here’s a picture of Rumaysah in the documentary – and in ISIS propaganda not long-after.

Lew Lukens, the highest-ranking U.S. official in London, is a piece of work.  The Chargé d'Affaires, or acting U.S. ambassador to the United Kingdom, undercut President Trump's criticism of London's Mayor Sadiq Khan in the wake of the recent terror attack by brazenly tweeting high praise to the leftist leader, whose hostility to Trump is well known. Lukens's tweet, spotted as a retweet on former Obama deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes's Twitter feed, reads: I commend the strong leadership of the @MayorofLondon as he leads the city forward after this heinous attack. – LLukens 3/3 https://t.co/p4dDZuCpyO — U.S. Embassy London (@USAinUK) June 4,...

At about 10pm British Summer Time on Saturday night, the London Bridge area was the scene of a series of vehicle attacks and stabbings. So my scheduled conversational topic with Judge Jeanine on Fox News was replaced by yet another discussion about terrorism. We'll link to any video that gets posted. I'll be back on Fox with Abby, Pete and Clayton tomorrow morning, Sunday, live at 8am Eastern/5am Pacific. As I write, six members of the public are dead, and three attackers. I'm wary of weighing in as the situation is unfolding, but, though the details are always different, in...

British officials eye burka ban and stripping citizenship London terror attack: British officials eye burka ban and stripping citizenship --------------------------------------------------------- British Prime Minister Theresa May, speaking Sunday after a meeting of the government’s COBRA emergency committee, claimed there was “too much tolerance” of Islamist extremism in the U.K. and insisted that the country’s counterterrorism strategy would be reviewed. While such reviews remain in preliminary stages, a British intelligence source told Fox News that it is an “all hands at the pump” approach, with Joint Intelligence Operations to be carried out collaboratively with M15, Scotland Yard and the Army’s Special Air...

Tony Blair presided over a silent conspiracy to change the face of Britain for ever with mass immigration, an explosive book reveals. He ordered his Labour government never to discuss in public the supposed ‘advantages’ of the unprecedented influx. But behind the scenes ministers were instructed to wave tens of thousands of asylum seekers into the UK under cover of their being ‘economic migrants’. Astonishingly, the minister Mr Blair put in charge of borders ruled against deporting failed claimants because it would be too ‘emotional’. The main aim of allowing in millions of people was to make the country ‘see...

Predictably such restrictions reduced the number of firearms in law-abiding citizens’ hands. Then came the Battle of Dunkirk in 1940. As the German war machine advanced, the British Expeditionary Force evacuated back across the English Channel. The retreat was costly. In their haste British troops abandoned most of their equipment. The massive loss of military arms, combined with the fact that the English people had been mostly disarmed, left the British people almost helpless before the advance of the Third Reich. Luckily, they had gun-owning friends across the Atlantic. In 1940 a group of Americans, headed by C. Suydam...

Last night’s attack on London Bridge and at Borough Market was actually over in under ten minutes, though the confusion and chaos in the aftermath stretched through the night as officials sorted out the details. As of this morning the damage toll stands at 7 dead and nearly 50 injured. Full credit goes to London’s first responders who reportedly shot and killed all three attackers in very short order and locked down the area efficiently so the investigation could begin. How much of a “network” existed in support of those three killers will likely not be known for days, if...

Just a few weeks ago, it seemed almost certain that Prime Minister, Theresa May would be returned to Parliament with an increased majority and that the Labour Party would be on the Brink of collapse. However, Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn seems to be defying the odds and narrowing the poll gap faster than anyone thought possible. Previously, it was OK to ignore his somewhat colourful past, and his less than appetizing current crop of political associates, but as the election looms closer, many in the UK are worried that Corbyn may actually be within striking distance of the top spot....

People at the scene have claimed the incident is a "terrorist attack". Twitter users have suggested seeing "bodies" at the scene. Reporters for Daily Star Online have seen people fleeing the scene and running away from the bridge in tears. Police have cordoned off the area as they deal with the incident. Emergency helicopters, ambulances and police cars have all been sighted in the area.

Nigel Farage is a “person of interest” in the US counter-intelligence investigation that is looking into possible collusion between the Kremlin and Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, the Guardian has been told. Sources with knowledge of the investigation said the former Ukip leader had raised the interest of FBI investigators because of his relationships with individuals connected to both the Trump campaign and Julian Assange, the WikiLeaks founder whom Farage visited in March. WikiLeaks published troves of hacked emails last year that damaged Hillary Clinton’s campaign and is suspected of having cooperated with Russia through third parties, according to recent congressional...

I assume the performers mean well. I assume they intend their concert to be an act of redemption and healing for the people of Manchester, England. But does this hurting city really need a performance featuring Ariana Grande, Katy Perry, and Miley Cyrus (among others)? Is this the best way to bring healing to these open wounds?

The wannabe Home Secretary claimed Brits “invented racism” and called Parliament “the heart of darkness, in the belly of the beast”. It comes after the top Corbyn ally has been forced to distance herself from a slew of anti-British remarks from her long career. According to contemporary reports the incendiary remarks were made to a US conference for radical left wingers in 1988 — but last night sparked fury. Top Tory James Cleverly hit out: “Many people feel that Corbyn’s core team, including Diane Abbott, don’t really like Britain and British people. These quotes prove it.”
