One of the problems with excessive hyperbole in propaganda is when people experience the reality of what was hyped. They realize someone lied to them. A level of credibility has been lost. This has happened over and over again, with a repetition that has become boring, as the right to bear arms in self defense is being restored and ... nothing happens. It happened at the University of Texas in El Paso. From kfoxtv.com: Claster contacted the University to find out if anything has happened regarding Campus Carry, or if there have even been any calls to campus police...

the suspect was holding a semi-automatic handgun and pointed at him saying “give me all your money, you’re in the wrong neighborhood.”The man then handed over his cash and cell phone and walked back to his car. The victim stated he began to honk his horn hoping to scare the suspect and get help...it was then when the suspect began running towards the man and stood next to the passenger’s side of the van yelling something at him while pointing the gun. The victim added he turned on his vehicle and tried to leave the scene, but he turned his...

The house in the middle of a South Austin street has been unstuck but is still blocking the road, Wednesday morning. Workers missed their deadline to move the house by 5 a.m., so now they must wait until midnight. Crews were given a tight window to move the house between midnight and 5 a.m. since it is such a wide load. Some progress was made overnight, the house was moved a little bit away from a person’s driveway and is now only blocking part of the road. Pieces of the roof were sawed off to move the house away from...

My Daughter and Son in law, and two grandchildren were going to the Grapefest in Grapevine, Texas, between Dallas and Fort Worth. They graciously invited me to tag along. Sunday afternoon, 19 September, 2016, was the time that fit with schedules and the kids naps. The temperature was 97 in Dallas, and I could feel the humidity. I missed my Sun Helmet. I am heat acclimated, but the kids were not. We had to walk a couple of blocks to the festival, and the family stopped in some shade to consider options. I notice some sign-age that looked as...

Todd Rathner is a talented freedom fighter. I have been impressed with his abilities for several years. I met him again at the Gun Rights Policy Conference in Tampa. Todd is the lobbyist for Knife Rights. The accomplishments of Knife Rights for the last decade has been tremendous, impressive, a tiny organization fighting far above its weight class. Knife Rights says they have opened a second front in the war to restore the Second Amendment. They are correct, and they are winning significant victories every year. I have written about Knife Rights before. Doug Ritter is one of the...

It’s not clear what happened in the last few fateful moments but some facts are undisputed. Crutcher was unarmed, Tulsa’s police chief admitted yesterday, and had no weapon in his car. He had his hands up as he walked slowly away from the police and towards his SUV with an officer, Betty Shelby, trailing behind him. As he reached the driver-side door, Shelby and another officer stopped a few feet behind the SUV and trained their pistols on him. They were joined by two more cops. Then things took a turn: At some point in the next few moments,...

On 27 February, 2016, Brett Sanders was arrested while openly carrying a firearm in Texas. He had refused to show the officers of the Southlake, Texas, Police Department, any identification or a Texas carry permit. Brett Sanders is an open carry and liberty activist. Link to video on Youtube The legal ability of Texas police officers to demand to see a carry permit of people openly carrying firearms, was hotly debated during the passage of the law that restored the right to openly carry modern pistols in Texas. A clause stating that officers could not demand a permit without...

Boeing unveiled the first prototype of its trainer aircraft for U.S. Air Force T-X advanced pilot trainer program co-developed with the Saab. The aircraft was rolled out from Boeing's facility in St.Louis, Missouri were the F/A-18 and F-15 fighters are assembled. The clean sheet design will be offered to replace the 55 year old Northrop Grumman T-38 fleet operated by USAF for pilot training. The aircraft features anhedral wings and tail fin with side mounted engine air intakes. What makes the Boeing's T-X design unique from the other three competitors is the twin canted tail plane. Other competitors in...

On 6 June, 2016, Two professors from the University of Texas, Austin and a Distinguished Teaching Associate Professor filled a lawsuit against the state Attorney General, the President of the University of Texas at Austin, and the members of the Board of Regents of the University of Texas at Austin. The lawsuit makes a number of frivilous claims, including that the law is vague, the law violates the plaintiffs’ First Amendment, Second Amendment, and Fourteenth Amendment rights. The arguments were childish, irrational, emotional rants. Here is an example: 48. The Texas statutes and university policies that prohibit Plaintiffs from...

ARLINGTON (CBSDFW.COM) – A dozen neighborhood cats have recently died or disappeared in downtown Arlington, and many business owners are turning to police for help because they suspect foul play. “These cats of Main Street had a home,” said Sarah Hughes, who works nearby. A long row of white crosses covers two streets along Main Street in Arlington. Each cross represents a feral cat that has either gone missing or has been found dead in recent weeks. Hughes stopped next to a cross with the word “missing” crossed out. It has been replaced with “R.I.P.” “This was one of our...

Waller County DA Elton Mathis Image from s-nbcnews.com A month ago, on 6 July, 2016, Waller County Texas officials raised many eyebrows by using the power of the County to sue an individual citizen. The citizen, Terry Holcomb Sr., threatened to report Waller County to the Texas Attorney General, as is required by the procedure set up by the Texas Legislature last session. It is easy to see why the Waller County DA went after the individual citizen. He does not have deep pockets to defend with, and he does not have the institutional defenses of the Texas...

Northrop Grumman’s entry for the T-X competition was publicly revealed on 19 August in Mojave, California. Dubbed the Model 400, the Northrop bid is powered by a single GE Aviation F404-102D engine with 17,200lb-thrust, according to the US Federal Aviation Adminitration’s aircraft registration database. Scaled Composites, the Northrop subsidiary devoted to rapid prototyping and flight testing, registered the aircraft on 16 June 2015, but the design was kept under wraps for several more months. Images of the aircraft on Twitter show an aircraft with a prominent, single vertical fin and a nose section similar to the T-38. Northrop revealed a...

On 16 July, a homeowner in Chicopee, Massachusetts was confronted with three men who were attempting to break into his house. It was an hour past noon, in broad daylight. He called the police to report the attempted break in. He tried to get them to leave, but one persisted in pounding on the door. When the would be intruder broke glass, he shot one shot through the door. That intruder died. It turned out that the intruder was 15 years old and had been illegally drinking with his two friends. Afterwards, the surviving young men claimed they were...

Sometimes the pronouncements of the disarmists are so absurd that it becomes hard to believe that they actually wrote what they wrote. But then, the current crop of leftists seem to believe that reality is what they intend it to be. Three professors at the University of Texas, Austin have filed suit against the state Attorney General, the President of the University of Texas at Austin, and the members of the Board of Regents of the University of Texas at Austin. The suit was filed on 6 June of 2016 in the United States District Court for the Western...

Bet the traditional media won’t show you these. In anticipation of Monday’s Supreme Court decision in Whole Woman's Health v. Hellerstedt, activists from both sides assembled en masse around the highest court’s front steps. The abortion case out of Texas challenged HB 2, which required abortionists to have admitting privileges at nearby hospitals and mandated that those clinics adhere to the same standards as ambulatory surgical centers. The media will no doubt cover the court’s decision in favor of abortion supporters (in other words, against the safety regulations that would force abortion clinics to close). But it’s unlikely that the...

It took a while, but the details of Dallas' latest encounter with presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump's campaign finally got filled in Wednesday afternoon. After a nearly weeklong search for a venue, the Trump operation found a DFW home at the Southside Ballroom, otherwise known as the big room at the Gilley's complex in the Cedars. ... But now that there's a public rally, longtime Dallas activist Domingo Garcia and Next Generation Action Network Founder Dominique Alexander are planning to rally at Gilley's at 6 p.m. Organizers are asking that demonstrators wear white shirts "to promote peace" and carry...
