Officials have issued a shelter-in-place for some residents in Florence, Texas due to a chlorine leak Wednesday morning. According to Williamson County Emergency Services, the shelter has been issued for residents living just south of the city up to and including the 500 block of Farm to Market Road 970. Affected residents are asked to stay indoors with their doors and windows shut. They are also asked to put towels near any gaps and to turn off their air-conditioners. The video shows an officer holding a gun on an individual, telling that person to stay down. One person has been transported to Parkland Hospital, according to Dallas Fire-Rescue officials. There is no word on if flights at Love Field have been affected. Flights at D/FW International Airport are not impacted, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. A Texas high school valedictorian has revealed she is an illegal immigrant in her graduation speech. Larissa Martinez told classmates at McKinney Boyd High School that she was one of the 11million undocumented citizens living in the United States after she fled her abusive and alcoholic father in Mexico. When an active shooter started targeting random people in his neighborhood, Byron Wilson was there.  He armed himself and entered the fray.  He fired at the rampage shooter and drew his fire in return. He did what he could to stop the carnage in his neighborhood.   He was shot three times, twice in the legs and once in the shoulder. He managed to crawl to a nearby business where he was able to call his wife and get help. I have been staying in the Dallas, Texas, metro area for 10 days now.  I have seen very few 30.06 signs or 30.07 signs. They are good sized signs and take up a considerable amount of space, so they are hard to miss, which is part of the legislative intent. Open carry of modern handguns has been legal for most carry permit holders in Texas for a few months now.  I was able to open carry during my visit in January. During cold weather, opportunities were limited.
