In the wake of Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s admission that some 600,000 accounts, including some members of Congress, were “unfairly” shadowbanned on its platform, a perfect opportunity has formed to fully answer the question of whether these accounts were of Democrats or Republicans. Dorsey couldn’t say for himself if the shadowbanned accounts leaned left or right, but beyond the suspicion caused by the companies open actions on its platform that seem to be targeting those right of center, Twitter employees themselves have already let the world in on who its algorithms target and why.
