Twitter announced Thursday that it has permanently suspended conspiracy theorist Alex Jones and his website InfoWars from its platform, citing abusive behavior.
The company had previously issued a seven-day suspension for Jones last month.
The announcement came a day after Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey testified on Capitol Hill, with Jones making an appearance at the hearing.

Boycott Twitter - use iMessage or something else but stop giving them your business or even following other people. They don’t want YOU and they’ve made that clear.
I’ve never listened to the guy but he must have been ‘on to something’ for the tech giants to gang up on him and ban him.
I knew it was just a matter of time before Twitter bent to pressure and conformed to the rest of the hysterical Mob.
After all, it was just a few weeks ago that Jack, the owner of Twitter thought he had to issue an apology for posting a pic of himself enjoying lunch at Chic Fil-A. He got a lot of nasty tweets about ‘supporting Gay Haters’, and he quickly crumbled. Weak!
