You got it. I don’t care for Jones but who is next? And when? Right before the election? That would screw up lots of election planning and voter drives.

Seems pretty extreme, but I guess that’s what happens when somebody touches Marco Rubio ...

Precisely.

I watched this today and think Rubio is slimy.

Doesn’t Twitter allow Jihadis and terrorists?

You would be too if you had your livelihood stolen from you the way he has.

He’s been banned right here on FR for quite awhile. And rightly so, imo. Guy is both nuts and a 1st Class A$$hole. I wish Rubio had punched him. Touching people who don’t know you can get you hurt. I would have broken Jones’ jaw.

“More like he was “on something”.”

Could be...What concerns me is the rabid lefties in control of these tech giants are working in concert with the rabid lefties in control of our 4 trillion dollar corrupt stasi state to censor speech.

Boycott Twitter - use iMessage or something else but stop giving them your business or even following other people. They don’t want YOU and they’ve made that clear.

It's not about messaging grandma.

It's about spreading conservative ideas.

Twitter has 300 million users. It's one of the top ten most popular social media sites in the United States. It's a platform, not a publisher, and it shouldn't be in the business of regulating legal content anymore than Verizon or T-Mobile suspending your cell phone service over "hate speech" violations.

We need to fight for our place and if conservatives can't see this, we're hopeless.

They only banned him first because they knew he was such a nutcase virtually nobody would defend him.

You’re next.

Amen, Brother. This is all about shutting down our ability to leverage widely held platforms to try and influence voters.

I don’t belong to Twitter. Never understood the appeal of social media.

I don’t read or watch Alex Jones, but until they start banning leftist hate groups as equally as they ban conservative groups, very very few of which are hate groups, then this company needs to be either put under public utility regulations, or prosecuted. Conservatives are sued and ruined, if they say or do something leftists don’t like. We need equal application of the law!

Agree.

Social media platforms began with a laissez-faire attitude toward content.

That all changed when Trump won and liberals blamed social media for not 'protecting us' from foreign political influences.

Once again, radical liberals demanded 'DO SOMETHING!'

Social media caved to their pressure.

This is political censorship disguised as 'stopping hate'.

I don’t belong either.

But millions and millions do, and if they succeed in ending free speech there we’ll never be able to move them to the Right.

At one point it sounds like Jones tells Rubio, “Go back to your bathhouse.”

Constitutionally, Americans have a right to free speech, but they don’t have the right to someone else’s platform to express it. I honestly don’t understand why people think they have a right to Tweet any more than we have a right to post on Free Republic.

Alex Jones was apparently making that point to Rubio in the halls of Congress the other day.

Yes, Jones was rude and nasty toward Rubio and some man from CNN. However, Senators Booker and other Democrats were equally rude to Brett Kavanagh, and the tactics of the rent a mob in the Senate gallery were appalling. I don’t feel sorry for the Uniparty or the enemedia getting the same treatment that they afford conservatives and patriots.

When you have a defacto monopoly platform (like Twitter and Facebook) you become more of a public airwave and less of a private entity.

Even if it were just Twitter it’d be somewhat understandable but EVERY major social media outlet banned him within a matter of days. YouTube, Facebook, google, amazon and Apple. Tell me that isn’t collusion to silence opposing viewpoints.

Yeah, to see people here, basically, celebrating this is alarming.

But, it IS how we got here so it's to be expected, I guess.

If they get away with this, they are going to go for the whole thing, very soon.

Anyhow, Alex can still be seen on Bitchute, which I recommend over youtube anyway.
