I see tons of movies...it is one of my guilty pleasures. Between the movie theater, Netflix, and my absurd DVD purchasing budget, I see the bulk of the popular movies every year. Admittedly, I miss a fair amount of the independent films, so take my list for what it is worth...

Recently, Michael Buble’ was seen chilling out on the Fox News Channel for an interview with none other than- your favorite and mine- Glenn Beck. That’s right. They talked about virtually everything- except politics. Now, I have no idea what Buble’s political ideology is and I don’t care. I’ve always assumed his politics were probably similar to that of the Hollywood lefties, but hey- you never know. See, the fact that I don’t know that is a GOOD thing..because if he were to suddenly announce his loyalty to King Obama, I would find it awfully hard to support or listen...

If this man is correct, then you may be reading the most important story in today's paper. I have no way of assuring you that the bleak version of the future outlined by Michael Ruppert in Chris Smith's "Collapse" is accurate. I can only tell you I have a pretty good built-in B.S. detector, and its needle never bounced off zero while I watched this film. There is controversy over Ruppert, and he has many critics. But one simple fact at the center of his argument is obviously true, and it terrifies me.

Mara Liasson is the national political correspondent for National Public Radio (NPR) and also regularly appears on Fox News Channel's Special Report and Fox News Sunday. It is incredible how far the Obama administration may have taken its "war" on Fox news. According to Politico, NPR, which is partially funded by the US Government, tried to strong-arm Liasson off of Fox News.

“Planet 51”-an Okay Stereotype Sort of MovieIt was an entertaining enough kind of movie, “Planet 51”, when granddaughter visited. Granddaughter is 5 year old and by my use of the “wiggle” meter, I’d give this film a c+, at best a B-. The “wiggle” meter is my guide as to how the movie being viewed captivates the younger audience, specifically my granddaughter, who is 5 years old and fairly typical. Google is closing in on a beta for the Mac version of its Chrome browser, according to a list of still-to-be-addressed issues. Just eight bugs are holding up the release of Chrome for the Mac, Google's bug tracking database showed Monday morning. Of the eight, only two are marked as Priority 1: Both involve crashes when the browser tries to render content for Adobe's Flash media format. Three weeks ago, a product manager on the Chrome team said that Google would deliver a beta for the Mac in early December.

While rumors of a possible Verizon-compatible iPhone in 2010 persist, one analyst has predicted that Apple will instead bring the iPhone to another GSM-based carrier in the U.S.: T-Mobile. In a note to investors released this week, Doug Reid of Thomas Weisel Partners said his firm believes that T-Mobile, and not Verizon, will be the beneficiary when Apple's exclusive agreement with AT&T expires next year...
