A sophomore at Texas State University died after being shot at an apartment complex near the campus early Sunday morning. Justin Douglas Gage, 20, died at University Medical Center-Brackenridge several hours after being shot in the torso and upper arm at The Retreat, an official student housing partner of Texas State Athletics located at 512 Craddock Avenue, less than two miles from campus. Police said he had gone into an apartment at the complex shortly before 3:30 a.m. with a friend. NASHVILLE -- Police were seeking three suspects early Wednesday after three college students were shot across the street from the Tennessee State University campus. Authorities told CBS Nashville affiliate WTVF-TV gunfire rang out shortly after the suspects weren't allowed into a massive house party. The victims were taken to area hospitals.
