A federal judge on Friday dismissed a bid by Rep. Louie Gohmert (Texas) and other Republicans that sought to endow Vice President Pence with the legal authority to effectively overturn President-elect Joe Biden’s electoral win. In his ruling, Texas-based U.S. District Judge Jeremy Kernodle, a Trump appointee, said the GOP plaintiffs lacked standing. The judge found that Gohmert suffered no legally recognizable injury. The other plaintiffs, a group of Arizona Republicans who self-identify as an alternate “slate” of pro-Trump electors, could not link their supposed injury to Pence, he reasoned.

Lin Wood: "I can tell you that the Kraken, I believe from what I've learned, Kraken was the code name given to a project where the United States recognized that they would in fact be attacked in this election. I think the country and its intelligence officers took the adequate steps to document what happened on November the 3rd. I think they've known since then. I think Sidney has done a magnificent job of trying to set the table for when the President has to announce it. So I believe you're going to find that the President of the United...

President Trump will lose his current world-leader-status exemptions from Twitter’s policies after Joe Biden’s inauguration on Jan. 20, exposing him to stricter moderation. (RELATED: Benjamin Netanyahu Removes Trump From His Twitter Profile Picture) Twitter applies unique policies to world leaders and various public officials of major importance, leaving rule-infringing content unremoved if the public has a “clear” interest in being able to access such content, according to The...

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) quashed two election integrity bills in July last year after receiving thousands in donations from Dominion lobbyists. In July, McConnell blocked two bills, one that would provide $775 million to “bolster election security,” along with requiring a physical paper trail of every single ballot cast in the country, and a second that would mandate political candidates, their staff members, and their families, to notify the FBI if any foreign government offered to assist them. “Clearly this request is not a serious effort to make a law. Clearly something so partisan that it only received...
