ONTARIO, May 8, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – A biological male who identifies as neither male nor female has received Ontario’s first birth certificate with an “X†designation in place of his biological sex. Joshua M. Ferguson is a Vancouver-based filmmaker who says he considers himself “non-binary†because he is biologically male but grew up with more feminine features. Last year he applied to Service Ontario for a “non-binary†birth certificate, filed a human rights complaint when he was rejected, and has finally gotten his wish, CTV News reports. The move follows new guidelines Ontario adopted last year allowing certificates to display...

People promoting “hostility” towards a religion or the transgendered online could get much harsher sentences, of up to six years in jail, especial if they have a large online audience according to new proposals. The Sentencing Council for England and Wales has drafted changes to public order offences, including anyone perceived as targeting online a “protected characteristics” including “race; sex; disability; age; sexual orientation; religion or belief; pregnancy and maternity; and gender reassignment.” The most severe punishments will be handed to those “in a position of trust, authority or influence and abuses their position to stir up hatred,” such as...

“It wasn’t my performance,” Herbst said. “It was me.” Jess Herbst thought she had a good shot of becoming the first openly transgender mayor to be elected in Texas on Saturday. She’d already served in the post for two years — a first in its own right — after the sudden death of the town’s former mayor. And she’d done things like re-establish the planning and zoning board and push for more law enforcement funding in the North Texas town of New Hope, population roughly 700. But after a bruising campaign, she lost, coming in third in a contest of...

WASHINGTON DC, May 7, 2018 (LifeSiteNews) – A band of young courageous ex-gays and ex-transgenders from around the United States converged on the Nation’s Capital on the weekend to proclaim in public the freedom they have found by having a relationship with Jesus Christ. Their message stands in stark opposition to popular LGBT dogma, which until now has dominated national discourse. The racially diverse group of mostly millennials — formerly sexually active gays and lesbians, as well as others who had lived as ‘transgenders’ (assuming the identity of a member of the opposite sex) — spoke about their personal conversion...

Your genitals determine your biological SEX -- which is male or female. What determines gender [masculine, feminine, neutral] is culture. So in some cultures, a skirt is feminine while in others it is masculine.#YouMightBeALiberal if the Divine was fallible in making you, but you are infallible in what you think you should be. Sex is biological and gender is cultural. There is no such thing, for example, as "neutral sex" -- even if you get your male junk cut off. Then you are an emasculated male. The Left tries to make them interchangeable to so they can blur the...

An event proclaiming freedom of all kinds of sexual identity issues is set to occur this weekend in Washington, D.C., spearheaded by a man who identified as a gay and transgender for approximately 15 years. Several former LGBTQ speakers from a variety of backgrounds will be sharing their stories of how they encountered the living God. Jeffrey McCall is the main organizer of what is being called The Freedom March, and in an interview with The Christian Post Wednesday, explained that despite constant talk in society about the perils of gay "conversion therapy," the March is centered on how the...

A new study from the Public Religion Research Institute reveals just how badly social conservatives are losing the battle over marriage and sexuality. Not only do two-thirds of Americans polled support so-called gay marriage, but even among evangelicals, support is rapidly growing. The majority of evangelical youth now reject Christ’s teaching on the subject. Outcomes like this surprise too many of us because we underestimate both the power of rhetoric and the extent to which conservatives willingly submit ourselves and our children to it. Anyone who is competent in the art of rhetoric knows the value of “frame,” deliberately using the...

US whistleblower and transgender rights advocate Chelsea Manning on Wednesday warned that she is deeply troubled about the way in which governments and large companies collect and use people’s data. The former US Army soldier said that search engines and social media firms were helping an “accelerated progress towards totalitarianism.” “I do not think Google or Facebook are accidentally storing data,” Manning told delegates on the opening day of the “Re: publica” internet forum in Berlin. The 30-year-old added that “algorithms are not neutral,” and urged those who develop the high-tech instruments and machine learning tools to closely consider their...

FULL TITLE: San Francisco Public Library hosts transgender “art exhibit” featuring weapons intended to kill feminists If you thought the age of scold’s bridles and dunking pools designed to torture and kill disobedient women were a thing of the past, you would be wrong. The San Francisco Public Library unveiled an exhibit this week featuring blood stained t-shirts encouraging patrons to “punch” feminists, along with several installations of deadly weapons painted pink: baseball bats covered in barbed wire, axes, among others, all designed by men to kill feminist women. The male creators of the exhibit also included a helpful manifesto,...

Maryland Democrat also calls for national single-payer health care systemSenate hopeful Chelsea Manning said she’ll work to abolish federal immigrations and customs agencies if successful in her bid to unseat U.S. Sen. Ben Cardin, Maryland Democrat. Ms. Manning, the former Army intelligence analyst convicted of leaking classified documents to the WikiLeaks website, listed eliminating both the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) as top priorities on her platform unveiled Thursday. “We believe the solution to the so called ‘immigration’ issue, which amounts to nothing more than justification for ethnic cleansing in America, is not...

Breitbart News reporter Warner Todd Huston was recently suspended from Twitter for stating his belief that transgender people suffer from mental illness. Breitbart News reporter Warner Todd Huston was recently locked out of his Twitter account following his reply to a tweet published by the Independent. The Independent‘s tweet related to Sheila Jeffreys, an Australian academic and feminist who claims that transgender woman are not real women. Jeffreys described transgender rights movements as: “[One of many] internet exploited sexual fetishes that try to make themselves a rights movement.”

While living in California more than 30 years ago, I had access to sound, effective, time-tested psychotherapy. Because of it, I walked away from the transgender life I had lived as Laura Jensen for eight years in San Francisco. Yet if I had been prevented from having access to such people and materials, as Assembly Bill 2943 proposes, the bill would have been a “stay trans and die” bill for me. I wanted to have access to restoration and redemption from my transgender life, but AB 2943 would make that illegal. The bill intends to prevent any access to what...

Over the last several months, I’ve spent evenings watching my fiancée, Lara, inject herself with smaller and smaller doses of estrogen. I’ve watched her stand in front of a mirror, singeing each hair out of her face with a secondhand electrolysis machine. The return of her testosterone hasn’t resulted in just the resurgence of facial hair; her pants now fit differently, too. My own skin has been plagued by acne since I got off the pill six months ago, and my default states are angry, hungry or sleeping. Such are the perils of trying to have a child the way...

Imagine if a young person was struggling with a drug addiction, or a gambling addiction, or a sexual addiction, but the government passed laws saying these people could NOT get help, therapy or treatment in dealing with these unwanted addictions or attractions. Most people would be utterly shocked at such heartless and fascist interference by the state. They would correctly argue that people should have the right and the freedom to make such choices for themselves, and should not be denied help when they desperately want it. Yet this is happening throughout the West when it comes to people who...

A federal judge in Washington State has declared that all civic groups nationwide must accept people of the other sex into their single-sex spaces and activities, or else be stigmatized and sued by the federal government. In legal jargon, Judge Marsha Pechman declared in a lawsuit against the Pentagon’s “transgender” policy that the federal government must use its powers to champion people who want to live as members of the sex, either inside the military or outside, just as it must use federal powers to suppress racism: Today, the Court concludes that transgender people constitute a suspect class. Transgender people...

Actress Caitlyn Jenner told PJM that she is satisfied with President Trump’s job performance in “certain areas” but transgender rights issues are not among them. Jenner also said many of the DREAMers are “great Americans” and she hopes Congress makes “the right decision” on fixing the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program. Jenner joined actor Richard Gere at the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute’s annual gala Wednesday, where Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen (R-Fla.) was honored for her years of “public service and international leadership” as the first Hispanic woman elected to Congress. Jenner was asked if she thinks Congress should provide legal...

The first large-scale, national study of transgender children, including some as young as 3, is poised to expand thanks to a five-year, $1 million grant awarded Thursday by the National Science Foundation to the professor leading the project. University of Washington psychologist Kristina Olson, 36, was named winner of the NSF’s annual Alan T. Waterman Award, the government’s highest honor for scientists still in the early phases of their careers. The NSF said the choice was unanimous, and noted that pediatricians are already using her findings to raise awareness about gender diversity.

Yet in what can only be called a period of country-wide insanity, we do just the opposite with those who have a transgendered disorder, i.e. they feel as though “they” are not in internal agreement with their birth gender. The official name is gender dysphoria and somewhere around 0.3% of the US population have this disorder. Do we offer these people help with their disorder as we do with all those others or do we celebrate and encourage their disorder? Sadly it seems fashionable to do the later. Society would rightly be up in arms if more and more babies...

If our world survives a few more generations, historians will doubtless look back at our current era and ask, "Was there something in the water? Something in the air? How is it that an entire society went mad at the same time?" If you've read my columns over the years, you know I have compassion for those who genuinely struggle with their gender identity. That is something I wouldn't wish on anyone, something I do not treat lightly. At the same time, you know that I have often spoken against today's cultural madness in which perception becomes reality. In the...
