Yet in what can only be called a period of country-wide insanity, we do just the opposite with those who have a transgendered disorder, i.e. they feel as though “they” are not in internal agreement with their birth gender. The official name is gender dysphoria and somewhere around 0.3% of the US population have this disorder.
Do we offer these people help with their disorder as we do with all those others or do we celebrate and encourage their disorder? Sadly it seems fashionable to do the later.
Society would rightly be up in arms if more and more babies were being born with left hands like my dad’s yet somehow we are collectively expected to “encourage” this one disorder.
And the obvious reason why it is treated differently comes down to one sad fact; it’s only because it has to do in some way with sex. This is a sad reflection on our society.

Fully agree. The few people with this mental disorder need to be offered help. Instead, liberals who are so open minded their brains leak out would rather force the vast majority to cave to the infinitesimal minority.

Don’t believe me? Take a trip to Home Depot and tell them you have want to build a deck and need twenty 1/4-20 carriage bolts. They’re going to ask about 1/4-20 nuts and when you say you don’t need them because your new deck is transgendered. They may just call the ambulance to be on standby for when your deck collapses.
No one can change his or her sex. (not gender.) Thinking that it is possible, is insanity.
Arresting people for using the normal English language pronouns, is dictatorship.
There are XX and XY - female and male.
Everything else is varying degrees and flavors of mental illness.
Except that there are a vanishingly small number of really confused types, like hermaphrodites.
I have been using the analogy of “transgenderism” to anorexia for years.
We don’t tell Anorexics “you are right, you ARE too thin!” It is still absurd to me that we allow trannies to cater to their psychosis.
BTW “Transgendereds” have something like a 25+% suicide rate since they don’t fit in anywhere. Coddling this psychosis is pretty much a death sentence.

I’d like to know who came up with using the grammatical term “gender” to denote someone’s sex. Having traveled a lot, I don’t know of any other English speaking country that does this.
On TGs, like abortions, there is an industry that profits from it (I’ve seen it suck money from my own extended family) and a political force behind it (USSC already stamped their approval on gay marriage, and these activists need to stay working and collecting donations), therefore this fashionable trend isn’t going away any time soon.

My friends has two daughters who are gender fluid, make her call their friends “they” and were both drugged up during childhood due to her divorce which caused them, oops, “they” emotional troubles. See any connections here?
I have called transgenders “The minority from nowhere,” and wondered why a group so small gets so much attention.
They are exactly the same as those who cut off their arms and legs because they don’t feel like their limbs should be a part of them. Sicko mental cases all.
We should always believe what people say about their gender, even if it against what we see with our own eyes. A man who says he is a woman should not be ridiculed, but handed a dress.
Likewise, when someone says there are insects burrowing into their skin (that we cannot see), we should not treat them for psychosis, we should spray them with Raid.
Having lived through the entire process of perversion being established as one of the most protected and abused social mistakes, I have to remind myself that at the inception, the closetted deviants were whining and requesting (not demanding) only a little tolerance, not the complete domination of all essential segments of society, backed up by the "boot-on-the-neck" force of pervert culture domination laws...
And what about the singer with normal vision who wants to be visually impaired because inside, he's a great blind musician like Blind Lemon Jefferson, Blind Willie McTell, Blind Willie Johnson, and the sightless immortal Doc Watson?

"Gender" is a quality of words, there is nothing threatening about using the word to describe the most common normal description quality of all mammals (can I still use that word?)
