I will spare my readers yet another frustrating analysis of President Obama’s State of the Union address this week, in that enumerating his dubious intentions and the brazen lies he tells are things I express here quite regularly. Other than his defiant tone serving to give the lie to his conciliatory rhetoric prior to the November midterm election rout, I believe that the primary value of this address was its potential for having demonstrated to a few million more Americans that this is the most diabolical individual to ever occupy the White House.

I told you last night, there was only one way for this year to end on Hot Air. May one word ring in your ears as the ball drops, my friends: Romneymentum.Hopefully you’re all already liquored up sufficiently to dull the pain. “I know exactly what Mitt’s going to do,†[Ken] Gardner, a real estate developer who helped bring Romney to Utah to lead the 2002 Winter Olympics, told the Deseret News. “I think over the next few months, a lot of things will happen.â€â€¦â€œIf it’s Ted Cruz that’s the candidate, he’s in. If it’s Jeb Bush, he’s probably not,â€...

Furthermore, Ms. Feinstein seems to have no regard for thousands of American lives around the world she has put in jeopardy or the droves of new recruits ISIS will enlist because of her reckless actions. She has singlehandedly hogtied the CIA, who, by the way, vehemently disagree with this report (the methods were even defended – to a degree – by Obama’s CIA head, John Brennan), and was put together totally by Democrats, without even interviewing the persons who would have been able to refute their claim that the enhanced interrogation techniques did not provide information that foiled other attacks...

President Barack Obama bailed out House Speaker John Boehner on Thursday night. After the House embarrassed Boehner by almost killing his 1,774-page $1.1 trillion cromnibus bill on a purely procedural vote earlier in the day, House Democrats pitched in to provide the votes to pass it. “My job tonight is to say thank you and Merry Christmas,” Boehner said in a rare floor appearance after the measure barely passed the House 219-206 after a day of pure chaos in Congress. Earlier in the say, every Democrat who voted on the rule voted against it. That nearly derailed the bill, as...

Representative Louie Gohmert (R-TX) said that conservatives in the House heard "not one word" from House GOP leadership on compromises to make changes to the cromnibus in order to get conservatives to vote for it even though "we were willing to work with them to compromise" on Thursday's "Hannity" on the Fox News Channel. "There was no encouragement to conservatives. The Speaker and Majority Leader, these folks knew there's money for abortion, money for the EPA to hurt states like Texas, Arizona. There's just all kinds of money in there for things we don't support. and, Sean, you and I...

President Obama said Tuesday that a long-awaited Senate report on CIA torture of terrorism suspects details “a troubling program” that harmed America’s reputation, reasons that he ended the practices soon after taking office. In a statement before Sen. Dianne Feinstein of California released the report, Mr. Obama said the probe “reinforces my long-held view that these harsh methods were not only inconsistent with our values as nation, they did not serve our broader counterterrorism efforts or our national security interests.”

On Tuesday, Senate Democrats will use some of their last hours in the Senate majority to release the much-anticipated report about the CIA's methods of extracting information from terror suspects, called "enhanced interrogation" by some and "torture" by others. The report is 6,000 pages long, but only the 480-page executive summary will be released. It is contentious, opposed by both Republicans and former CIA officials who argue that it not only is false, but that it will bring harm to American personnel abroad.

In a lengthy interview on Friday afternoon, Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) exposed how House Speaker John Boehner, Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy and Majority Whip Steve Scalise strengthened President Barack Obama’s executive amnesty with procedural trickery former Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Obamacare architect Jonathan Gruber would envy—and they did it all in the name of pushing a bill that they told Republicans would block Obama’s executive amnesty. What’s more is that a series of interviews and recent developments indicate that Boehner’s gambit here is placing several of his top lieutenants—including at least two committee chairmen—at political risk of serious primary challenges...

We are up against "deranged traitors," not misguided Americans. We are confronting stark evil, not innocent error Reason flees; pygmies rule. Our intellectuals and legislators on both sides of the spectrum have abandoned all sanity regarding immigration, culture, freedom, and common sense. Our country is in free fall. Collapse lies over the horizon like grinning Death with its blood stained scythe. Pity our children. They must live in the desolate country we are creating for them. Those who hold intellectual and legislative power in America today, no doubt, think of themselves as noble and brave in pursuit of justice and...

Nathan Cirillo and Michael Zehaf-Bibeau. As I noted yesterday, the moral contrast between these two men — the Ottawa terrorist and the guard he shot — couldn’t be more stark. Cirillo gave his life in the service of country and honor. Zehaf-Bibeau gave his life in the service of tyranny and murder. All those who have died serving Australia, Canada, the U.K., and the U.S. have made a great sacrifice for those respective democracies. Most Westerners honor them with gratitude. Tragically, however, some Westerners are betraying that honor by joining the Islamic State’s global movement. This societal struggle —...

(Washington, DC) – Judicial Watch announced today that on September 23, 2014, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia ruled that by October 22, the Department of Justice (DOJ) must submit a “Vaughn index” listing Fast and Furious materials Judicial Watch sought in its June 2012 Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request and subsequent September 2012 FOIA lawsuit (Judicial Watch v. Department of Justice (No. 1:12-cv-01510)). A Vaughn index must: (1) identify each document withheld; (2) state the statutory exemption claimed; and (3) explain how disclosure would damage the interests protected by the claimed exemption.

Hillary Clinton tonight told a room full of Hollywood heavyweights that the midterm elections are very important to make sure the Democrats retain the Senate so they can move forward on “important issues like immigration reform.” What she also told the 60 or so guests in attendance is, to use some of the introductory remarks by co-chair Jeffrey Katzenberg, is “the amazing drawing power” of the former Secretary of State. A fact not lost on anyone as tonight’s event raised $2.1 million for Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, a fundraising record. The cable news klieg lights, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson may have moved on, but residents of Ferguson, MO continue to experience nearly nightly unrest stemming from the shooting death of Michael Brown. Eye witnesses have told Breitbart News that pro-Palestinian and other Muslim activist groups are a growing presence in the protests. On October 10th, a number of these groups, named "The Palestine Contingent," are planning to join a "Weekend of Resistance" in Ferguson to highlight the connection between the midwest community and Gaza. From its call to action: "Local groups including the Organization for Black Struggle and the...

Don't give America to the hard left liberal progressive commie bastard democrats because you can't find purity in the Republican Party A listener to my Constitution Radio with Douglas V. Gibbs program on KCAA AM1050, and regular reader of Political Pistachio, emails me often to challenge what he considers to be my oath to the Republican Party. I have no oath to the GOP. My oath is to God, and my political ideology is that of a Classical Centrist, which is someone that, without compromise, supports the original intent of the United States Constitution. I wish, I have told Nathan,...

Pro-immigration reform Republicans say there's a better chance that Congress will produce an immigration overhaul if their party wins control of the upper chamber in November. GOP lawmakers say that with Republicans in charge of both chambers, leadership in the House would have a negotiating partner across the Capitol they could trust. Republicans also would have more leverage with President Obama in negotiating a bill to secure the border and deal with the estimated 11 million undocumented immigrants already in the United States. “With the caveat that it's a very difficult issue, I think the likelihood is better if Republicans...

Sen. Ted Cruz tried to get the Senate to consider a measure Thursday providing that any American who joins the fight with terrorist groups such as the Islamic State would immediately renounce their U.S. citizenship, but a Democratic senator objected, saying more time is necessary to weigh the significant constitutional issues it raises. Ahead of the Senate’s scheduled consideration Thursday afternoon of a proposal to arm and train Syrian rebels, part of President Obama’s strategy to combat the terrorist group, the Texas Republican asked for unanimous consent to pass the Expatriate Terrorist Act he introduced earlier this month. The measure...

Richard III's last moments were likely quick but terrifying, according to a new study of the death wounds of the last king of England to die in battle. The last king of the Plantagenet dynasty faced his death at the Battle of Bosworth Field on Aug. 22, 1485, only two years after ascending the throne. The battle was the deciding clash in the long-running Wars of the Roses, and ended with the establishment of Henry Tudor as the new English monarch. But Richard III's last moments were the stuff of legend alone, as the king's body was lost until September...

In an effort to prevent traitorous Americans from joining ISIS, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) introduced legislation on Monday that would revoke their U.S. citizenships if they do. Speaking on the Senate floor this afternoon, he explained why such legislation is finally necessary. “ISIS is a study in oppression and brutality that is conducting ethnic cleansing against religious minorities in the region, that is targeting and persecuting Christians, and that is attempting to subject the local population to the strictest forms of Sharia Law,” he said. “And ISIS has gruesomely murdered U.S. civilians and, indeed, journalists on the public stage." Washington...

Breitbart first brought this matter to the public. It is another hideous attempt by the White House Marxist to eliminate another free market function of our economy because it does not fit the Marxist view of the world. Well, you know what, I am fed up with the White House Commie and his destruction of Americanism because he is a closet muslim and a closet communist. Get rid of this @sshole and all of the muslims who are his advisors!
