MANCHESTER, Tenn. – One of the country's largest office supply companies officially put down roots in Coffee County Thursday morning, a move that strengthens the group's ties to the Volunteer State. Newell Rubbermaid, the company that makes Sharpie and Paper Mate pens, officially opened its 67,000 square foot, $12.5 million facility in Manchester. Approximately 50 workers are employed at the new plant, which will manufacture and develop the ink that's contained inside pens and highlighters. Julia Corker, the oldest daughter Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.), was dragged out of her SUV near the Penn Quarter area Wednesday night and carjacked, according to Corker’s chief of staff, Todd Womack. Two suspects were arrested by Prince George’s County officers after OnStar tracked down the 2005 Chevy Tahoe in Suitland. Three police officers apprehended two suspects in the Addison Plaza Shopping Center around 10:30 p.m. Wednesday night. The two men were parked in front of a Taco Bell.
