Tennessee Sen. Bob Corker (R) declined to tell a reporter Thursday whether he had voted for Rep. Marsha Blackburn (R) or her opponent, Phil Bredesen (D) in the race to replace him in the Senate when asked about his vote. Corker has endorsed Blackburn, but his support for the Trump-aligned congresswoman is seen as reluctant amid his own criticism of the Trump administration. "I think you know, so, I’ll leave it at that," he told the Nashville Tennessean on Thursday. Though adding of Blackburn, he reportedly said: "Yeah, I endorsed her early on."

Voter turnout for Tuesday’s midterm elections may be affected as a potent storm unleashes rain, strong winds and potentially violent thunderstorms from the midwestern to southern United States. According to research, weather influences some voters' response when making a decision to head to the polls. "Weather was found to be, on average, nearly 20 percent of the change in voter turnout based on our analysis," according to AccuWeather Data Scientist and Meteorologist Tim Loftus. "Democrats are more weather sensitive, when compared to Republicans, and among the most weather-sensitive were African-Americans, those 65 and older and 18- to 24-year-olds," he said....

My God. Four days before an election, he went full cuck. This clip would have been better in every way if he had described their native lands as “sh*thole countriesâ€: Bob Corker defending the fleeing migrants: "They're being tortured….I have a feeling that if you were living in one of these Central American countries and you had little girls and little boys you're raising you might be trying to figure out a way to come to the great US of A" pic.twitter.com/VzocuyUiOZ— Alan He (@alanhe) November 2, 2018 I assume Corker would say (and maybe did go on to say)...

Democrats in tough Senate races around the country are throwing their party under the bus as they seek to pull out victories in red states won just two years ago by President Trump. In Missouri, Sen. Claire McCaskill (D) has a radio ad declaring she’s “not one of those crazy Democrats.” She’s in a razor-tight race against Josh Hawley, the state’s attorney general. In Montana, Sen. Jon Tester (D), whose race against Republican Matt Rosendale has tightened considerably, told The Hill that Democrats “botched” the debate over Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. He also criticized Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren’s (D)...

Is blocking truth censorship? Google Ads blocked Tennessee GOP candidate Marsha Blackburn from releasing a campaign ad for Google search users because the “content didn’t meet Google standards.” The 30 second ad titled “Stop the Mob” showed protesters screaming during a moment of silence for the victims of the Pittsburgh synagogue shooting, and a protester kicking a cameraman. She also had a 15 second ad. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-AR6PIUKJo According to the Daily Caller, Google Ads, an online advertising platform, would not allow the Tennessee Republican’s campaign for Senate promote two campaign videos as search ads because the content doesn’t meet Google’s standards,...

Video https://www.youtube.com/watch?time_continue=59&v=vmkUfKB7VoI Left-wing activists protesting a campaign event for Republican Senate candidate Marsha Blackburn in Tennessee interrupted a moment of silence held in honor of the victims of the shooting attack in a Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania synagogue over the weekend. Thirteen people were shot, 11 of them fatally, when 46-year-old Baldwin, Pennsylvania resident Robert Bowers ran into the Tree of Life synagogue and opened fire on congregants. Bowers later shot and wounded four police officers, before he was wounded and taken into custody. Washington, DC – Rep. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee has always distinguished herself as a pro-life warrior. She chaired the House Select Panel on Infant Lives in 2015 and personally signed the letters to the U.S. Department of Justice referring Planned Parenthood and others for criminal investigation and prosecution based on evidence of the illegal trafficking in aborted baby body parts and intentionally killing babies born alive during late-term abortions. In 2016, Operation Rescue named Rep. Blackburn as the recipient of the Pro-Life Person of the Year Malachi Award, which is given each year by Operation Rescue to recognize individuals who...

The Democrats typically lead Republicans in early voting during midterm and presidential election cycles. In 2016 the Democratic lead in early voting was such that it inspired major news outlets, AP for example, to run articles with titles like “Early voting: More good signs for Clinton in key states.” Among the states in which early voting portended a victory for Hillary, according to AP, were Florida and North Carolina. The story went on to quote her spokesperson as follows: “The Clinton campaign describes both North Carolina and Florida as ‘checkmate’ states.” Trump won both of course.Oddly, most of the major...

Early voting numbers from several key battleground states now show Republican voters turning out in far greater numbers than Democratic ones, signaling an initial GOP surge that may dull the prospects of a so-called "blue wave" on Nov. 6. Republican voters have taken the lead in turnout numbers in Georgia, Indiana, Montana, Texas, Tennessee, Florida and Arizona -- states that Fox News analyses show are the scenes of close and pivotal House, Senate and gubernatorial races. The results are most striking in Tennessee, where 63 percent of early voters are affiliated with the Republican Party, compared to only 30 percent...

Attorneys for a Tennessee death row prisoner were trying to spare him from lethal injection and they succeeded — but not the way they hoped. Instead of getting the needle, Edmund Zagorski is scheduled to die in the electric chair on Nov. 1. If the execution goes forward, he will be only the second person to be executed that way in Tennessee since 1960. His case illustrates how hard it is for states to find ways to execute prisoners that courts will deem humane; the challenge attorneys face trying to save their clients from execution; and the frustration of some...

Is the "blue wave" turning purple? Republican-affiliated voters have outpaced Democratic-affiliated voters in early voting in seven closely-watched states, according to data provided by TargetSmart and independently analyzed by the NBC News Data Analytics Lab. GOP-affiliated voters have surpassed Democratic-affiliated ones in early voting in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Montana, Tennessee and Texas, the data showed. Only in Nevada have Democratic-affiliated voters exceeded Republican-affiliated voters so far in early voting, according to the data.

(Big League Politics) – Special counsel and former FBI director Robert Mueller is accused of framing a man on gun charges — a case that is officially under investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI). The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation confirms on official letterhead that a criminal complaint regarding Mueller’s conduct as FBI director is stored in an investigative case file at the Bureau. The Department’s policy is not to release this information in the course of an investigation.

Knox County voters came out strong and, in some places, waited in long lines Wednesday that reminded Elections Administrator Cliff Rodgers of a presidential election. (My emphasis.) It was the highest voting on the first day day [sic] of early voting in at least 10 years, which includes three presidential election cycles, and Knox County election officials believe it is a record first-day turnout.
