Despite reports that Tiger Wood's wife, Elin Nordegren, would get $750 million in her split from the golfer, it looks like she'll be getting a much smaller -- albeit substantial -- payout. TMZ reports that Nordegren will get $100 million dollars. In exchange, she has agreed to a confidentiality clause -- meaning no books or interviews discussing her relationship with Woods or his alleged affairs. The $100 million figure is much less than their pre-nup stipulated, according to TMZ, but Nordegren may have wanted to avoid a possible trial. Nordegren will also likely receive substantial child support payments for the...

TMZ has learned ... Elin Nordegren will walk away from her marriage with Tiger Woods with approximately $100 million. As one source with direct knowledge of the terms of the divorce tells TMZ, "She'll be getting close to $100,000,000." There have been reports Elin would score $750 million, but we have confirmed that figure is wrong. Indeed, as we first reported, Tiger is not even worth $750 million. We're told his net worth is somewhere between $500 and $600 million.

NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa., July 2, 2010 – The pressure of driving iron through sand, running from bunker to bunker or getting near troubled woods while desperately trying not to hit innocent civilians is nothing new for most combat veterans. After sinking a birdie putt to place his team in the lead for the AT&T National Pro-Am at Aronomink Country Club in Newtown Square, Pa., Tiger Woods gives his gratitude and a hearty fist bump to Air Force Chief Master George Vasiloff of the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, June 30, 2010. Tiger Woods has been interviewed by federal authorities investigating a Canadian doctor accused of distributing human growth hormone, a person familiar with the investigation told The Associated Press on Wednesday. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity because the investigation of Dr. Anthony Galea is ongoing. Woods previously acknowledged that he's been treated by the Toronto-based doctor but insisted that he did not receive any performance-enhancing drugs. "Tiger willingly spoke to the authorities and cooperated fully," Woods' agent, Mark Steinberg, said in an e-mail. "It was confirmed that because he did nothing illegal, he is not the subject of...

In return, former wife Elin Nordegren ,30, gets the biggest payout ever seen in a celebrity divorce. MONTEREY - The Federal Aviation Administration confirmed Friday that the FBI did contact the control tower at Monterey Peninsula Airport on Sunday because it was concerned about a plane towing a banner above the U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. FAA spokesman Lynn Lundsford had said that he was unable to locate a record of the request. His colleague, spokesman Ian Gregor, said Friday that the record wasn't found earlier because the call from the FBI went directly to the airport control tower. Gregor said in the FBI agent who called "expressed some concerns about a banner-tower." The banner read TIGER:...

It's open season on Tiger Woods. As the disgraced golfer took to the links Tuesday at the U.S. Open, one of his mistresses claimed she has been caddying around his love child for nine years. And renewed reports emerged about another paramour's claims that she, too, bore a Tiger cub. Adult film actress Devon James, 29, claims Woods is the father of her son, Austin T. James - whose middle initial is a secret tribute to the golfer she loved.

This Tiger Woods divorce looks like it's going to be fought with conventional weapons, and cost thousands of lives. Bill Zwecker of the Chicago Sun-Times is reporting that negotiations are bogging down over Tiger's demand that Elin Nordegren sign a confidentiality agreement, prohibiting her from writing a book or doing any interviews related to the marriage. Oh, and there's this: In addition, I'm hearing Nordegren is ramping up her financial demands -- to an estimated $750 million package -- and wants full custody of their children.

Hank Haney’s six-year run as Tiger Woods’ swing coach is over. Haney told Golf Channel late Monday that he has informed Woods that he will no longer be his coach. “Just so there is no confusion, I would like to make it clear that this is my decision,” Haney said in a statement released to Golf Channel.

AN anchor on America's Golf Channel made an embarrassing slip when referring to Tiger Woods' withdrawal from The Players Championship in Florida yesterday. Woods, who was playing in his third tournament since returning from his self-imposed sex scandal exile that lasted nearly five months, blamed a bulging disk in his upper back for his decision to pull out of the $9.5 million tournament. But while reporting on the withdrawal of Woods, the female anchor instead blamed a "bulging d**k."

And now there’s yet another new experience Tiger Woods has to deal with. And it’s the last thing we ever thought we’d see from the man who used to be the greatest golfer most of us had ever seen. He quit Sunday in the final round of the Players Championship. Picked his ball up on the seventh hole, said his neck hurts, and didn’t even walk off the course. He climbed in a golf cart and rode off into the metaphorical sunset. Except that little kid running behind him wasn’t yelling, “Come back, Shane!” He was yelling, “"Tiger, say so...

" What the hosts do is more like placement. ...At the door, a host will procure a man’s credit card and his I.D. and quote him what the minimum will be at a certain table. Table minimums are usually around $1,500 at clubs in Manhattan, but a prime spot can go for as much as $30,000. And Uchitel has seen bills of $245,000 and higher for patrons who are buying huge Methuselahs of Champagne—the equivalent of eight standard bottles in one—or, in their schnockered magnanimity, have decided to treat other tables to rounds of Cristal."

What would Jesus say to Tiger Woods and Jesse James?" posed the pastor of a Texas megachurch. Addressing the recent celebrity scandals and adulterous affairs that have been adorning tabloids and magazines for the past several months, Pastor Kerry Shook of Woodlands Church challenged the congregation not to cast any more stones than have already been thrown. "A lot of people have been throwing rocks at Tiger Woods and Jesse James," Shook said, alluding to the New Testament account of the adulterous woman the Pharisees wanted to have stoned. "I'm not going to pick up another stone and add to...

Viewers' general reaction to the "Did You Learn Anything?" spot from Nike featuring Tiger Woods? In a word: "ick." According to ad evaluator Ace Metrix, the commercial scored well below norms for footwear ads overall, garnering low marks for both persuasion and watchability. Ace gauged the clip using an online panel of 500 adults. The 30-second commercial, which featured a voiceover from Tiger's dead dad, received an overall score of 365 out of a possible 950 points. (The norm for spots in the apparel footwear category is 501). For persuasion, the ad scored 428 (vs. a 554 norm for the...

To quote a friend, after Sunday's conclusion of the Masters: "There was always a bit of the punk in Tiger Woods, but I always loved watching him play, and I always wanted him to win. The whole show was just too compelling. It wasn't that way over the weekend. I wanted Tiger to lose -- and it's not just the sex thing. The guy's just too weird." I got that opinion from everyone I talked to about the Masters -- men, women, teenagers, younger kids, hard-core fans, casual observers. Go, Phil. Tiger's the bad guy now. He may eventually get...

After Tiger got caught cheating on his wife with porn stars, pancake waitresses, cocktail waitresses and many others, he disappeared for months and eventually went to rehab for “sex addiction.” He’s back at The Masters and he’s doing quite well for having taken so much time off. But he hit a terrible note during a press conference when he compared his comeback to that of Ben Hogan, one of golf’s legends. In 1949 Ben Hogan and his wife, Valerie, were driving in their car when a Greyhound bus crossed the center line and hit them head on. Ben threw himself...
