"We have now sunk to a depth at which the restatement of the obvious is the first duty of intelligent men." – George Orwell Despite all the gnashing of teeth from the Left over Donald Trump’s comments about illegal aliens and liberals’ deliberate attempts to distort what he said, his controversial comments about Mexico are absolutely correct. "When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. …They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems to us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people." Despite attempts to...

Presidential hopeful Donald Trump has once again come in for a barrage of criticism as a result of his comments about immigration into the United States. This time Trump has latched onto the tragic murder of tourist Kate Steinle who was shot and killed Wednesday at Pier 14 in San Francisco. Trump used the announcement of his presidential campaign to brand Mexican immigrants as “Criminals, drug runners and rapists.” Trump’s comments have been widely criticized as xenophobic and have led to his being dropped by NBC and Nascar amongst others. Donald Trump has stirred up controversy in recent days for claiming “rapists” and “killers” are migrating over the United States’ southern border. Univision and NBC Universal cut ties with Trump this past week, refusing to air the “Miss Universe” pageant he partially owns as a result, and Macy’s announced Wednesday it was also discontinuing his clothing line. But Trump was right. Rapists are crossing over into the US southern border. And officials are finding rape trees. Women’s undergarments hang in a tree near the US border.Latina.com reported on this tragic development in 2009: “From beheading to kidnappings, there seems to...

Political correctness is a very serious affliction that has done incredible damage to our country. It will eventually destroy America if it is not pulled up by the roots and finally eradicated When Donald Trump announced for President, he made some strong statements about the immigration problems facing our nation. He said that Mexico was “bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists, and some, I assume, are good people.” In essence, Trump noted that Mexico was not sending their scientists and scholars to America. In his speech, he mentioned that while immigrants are taking jobs in this country; corporations like...
  • Donald Trump: Whose voters is he stealing?

Right now, Donald Trump is like a black hole whose stupendous gravitational pull is attracting a lot of media attention and some of the voters associated with the Republican 2016 presidential race. Which of his rivals in particular is this hurting? After all, Mr. Trump’s poll numbers have risen sharply since he said that this time, he’s actually, positively running. Polling is a zero-sum game: His rise means other folks have fallen. Let’s look at the numbers and see which of Trump’s fellow candidates they are. ((snip)) Nationally, Trump’s jump into the fray has affected Marco Rubio the most, according...

Sen. Ted Cruz defended Donald Trump on immigration and called out “the Washington cartel” he says is ignoring the issue, in an interview to be broadcast Sunday on NBC’s “Meet the Press.”“I salute Donald Trump for focusing on the need to address illegal immigration,” Cruz said of his rival for the 2016 GOP nomination, adding that it “seems the favorite sport of the Washington media is to encourage some Republicans to attack other Republicans.”“I’m not interested in Republican on Republican violence,” he told host Chuck Todd, adding that “bold … brash” Trump “has a colorful way of speaking.”The Texas senator’s...

Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL)80% released a statement Friday night attacking rival Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump for a statement made during his campaign announcement speech 16 days ago. Rubio’s statement reads: Trump’s comments are not just offensive and inaccurate, but also divisive. Our next president needs to be someone who brings Americans together – not someone who continues to divide. Our broken immigration system is something that needs to be solved, and comments like this move us further from – not closer to – a solution. We need leaders who offer serious solutions to secure our border and fix our...

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A random fatal shooting in San Francisco, allegedly by an immigrant, proves the United States must tighten its borders, according to a statement on Friday by U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump, who is facing heavy criticism for his comments about Mexicans. Kathryn Steinle, 32, was fatally shot as she walked with her father along the popular Embarcadero pier on Wednesday in what San Francisco police described as an apparent random attack. Francisco Sanchez, 45, was quickly arrested nearby. He is on probation from Texas, police said. He has a long criminal history and has been deported...

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News, Citizens United chief David Bossie says the Fox News poll released on Wednesday reinforces results his organization obtained in a survey of its own. The Fox poll shows Donald Trump in second place among 2016 Republican presidential contenders, and Bossie calls that a clear sign that “the conservative movement that makes up the Republican party voter base is desperately looking for leadership.” The stunning new Fox News poll shows Jeb Bush in the lead with the support of 15 percent of likely Republican primary voters, but Trump is right behind him in second...

NASCAR is the latest corporation to distance itself from Donald Trump. On the same day one of its top sponsors called on NASCAR to take a stance against Trump, the motorsports series said it will not hold its season-ending awards ceremony at the Trump National Doral Miami. "We looked at everything we saw coming down and what we heard from our sponsors and our partners and what we feel we should be doing, and that's what led us to the decision today," NASCAR spokesman David Higdon said Friday at Daytona International Speedway. Trump's spokesman, Hope Hicks, declined to comment to...

Sen. Ted Cruz continues to defend Donald Trump on immigration. Cruz (R-Tex.), in an interview with "Meet the Press" praised Trump for talking about immigration. Trump has made inflammatory comments about Mexican immigrants, leading Macy's and Univision to sever ties with Trump. Cruz, speaking during his book tour in Marietta, GA., said he likes Trump, whom Cruz said is "bold" and "brash." Cruz said he's not going to attack Trump. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/post-politics/wp/2015/07/03/ted-cruz-continues-to-defend-donald-trump-on-immigration/

By Richard Pollock Israel News AgencyNew York — July 3, 2015 … Civil liberty advocates are jumping all over New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio’s order to “review” all of Donald Trump’s city contracts because of his recent comments on Mexican immigrants. “This is not the American Way,” observed Alan Dershowitz, Harvard’s most distinguished civil liberties law professor, about the chilling effect de Blasio’s action could have on freedom of speech. “De Blasio seems to put himself directly, squarely in conflict with the First Amendment,” he told TheDCNF in an interview. The first time I interviewed Donald Trump, back in 1987, he said this: “When I go up to New Hampshire -- I'm not running for president, by the way -- I get the best crowd, the best of everything in terms of reception. “The politicians go up and get a moderate audience. I go up, and they're scalping tickets. You heard that? They're scalping tickets. Why? Because people don't want to be ripped off, and this country is being ripped off. I think if I ran, I'd win.” He has been honing this act for a long time. Many pundits—some...

On Wednesday L.A. Weekly reached out to the Pasadena-based National Hispanic Media Coalition to see if it wanted to weigh in on the pro golf tour's continued ties to Donald Trump and some of his courses, which include the Trump National Golf Club Los Angeles in Rancho Palos Verdes. NHMC CEO Alex Nogales, who had already played a role in pressuring NBC Universal to sever ties with the mogul over his controversial remarks about Mexican immigrants, responded by threatening to organize a boycott of PGA events if pro golf didn't end its relationship with Trump.

I hate when that happens. The man arrested in connection with the seemingly random killing of a woman who was out for a stroll with her father along the San Francisco waterfront is an illegal immigrant who previously had been deported five times, federal immigration officials say. Further, immigration officials say San Francisco had him in their custody earlier this year but failed to notify Immigration and Customs Enforcement when he was released. But they just want to come here for a "better life", right? Yeah, and to commit murder, it would appear. Further, our "catch and release" system, along...

Police in the Mexican border city of Ciudad Juarez say they have detained three men who were pushing a car laden with explosives. The explosives included two tubes of ANFO, or ammonium nitrate-fuel oil, a potent explosive often used in industry. Officials say the explosives would have caused damage in a 40-yard (meter) radius had they detonated. The Chihuahua state prosecutors' office said Tuesday that police also found three batteries, two bottles of fuel and electrical wire in the car. It said the men who were pushing the car also had marijuana and guns.

The man accused of gunning down a 32-year-old Pleasanton woman while she was out strolling San Francisco's Embarcadero with her father was in a Bay Area jail four months ago and should have been turned over to federal immigration officials upon his release, instead of being sent free, according to the Department of Homeland Security. But that's not the way the San Francisco County Sheriff's Legal Counsel Freya Horne sees it. In an interview Friday with NBC Bay Area, she said the city and county of San Francisco are sanctuaries for immigrants, and do not turn over undocumented people –...

It’s bad enough that this beautiful young woman had her life taken from her Wednesday night, just snubbed out in what is being called a random shooting. But what make this worse is that it was done by an illegal from Mexico who had been deported at least five times and had a lengthy criminal record.
