Just a minor comment. “Elite of the elite” is extremely relative to the one making the assertion. Green Berets, Rangers, Force Recon and pretty much every guy in Delta Force is just as elite as any SEAL. And this deification of them is disturbing. I have known a few in my day and they dont all speak 5 languages, dodge bullets matrix-style, and leap tall buildings. Some of them drink too much beer. Some smoke too much. And they certainly are not above temptation. One SEAL was kicked out a few years ago for stealing a knife (search FR). Another was bounced out for disrespecting a superior officer.

That said, I do believe these particular SEALs are getting the raw end of the deal.

Navy S.E.A.L.s are the most highly trained killing machines in the military. They are the elite of the elite and hold to codes of conduct on the battlefield that most people could not begin to understand. You are not worthy of one drop of these men’s sweat!

I’m to the point of saying bring all the US military home since they are not allowed to do their jobs. They are not police. They are anti terrorist special forces. They grabbed him instead of dirting him, so kudos. To think they did anything wrong shows a person’s absolute ignorance of the real world.

Because he resisted the urge that I woud’ve had to double tap the murdering terrorist right between the eyes!

If we are going to put soldiers on trial for lying, shouldn’t we put the commander in chief on trial for his lies?

Truthfully, the sailors are not imprisoned in any manner whatsoever. To do so for such a minor infraction would be considered as punishment, after which they could not be prosecuted.

You are absolutely dead on here. You know, I know the spin. I know the the whole game of "don't look at this hand while the other hand does this" but you made me feel shame tonight. I have followed the Seals plight, but as a former Marine, I am ashamed that I have not YET bothered to know their names.

O’Reilly brought up the dropping of charges by Holder against the black Panthers outside the voting locations. He said they are going to call the political appointee tomorrow that dropped the charges...stay tuned.
