A Somali refugee and Ohio State University student plowed his car into a group of people on campus Monday and slashed them with a butcher knife — and police are now investigating whether the attack was an act of terror, federal sources told The Post. “He did exhibit some of the methods encouraged by terror groups who can’t attack the US themselves,” a federal source said. When the attack began, police issued an “active shooter” alert that prompted a campus-wide lockdown and chillingly ordered students to “run, hide, fight.”

The latest Somali immigrant attack in America’s heartland was as predictable as it was preventable. Ten people are hospitalized in an attack that could have been much worse, but for our fortunate ability to counter the terrorist with an armed response. The Left has no excuse — none whatsoever — for it’s decision to allow the mass immigration to America of a group with few economic prospects and a hugely disproportionate percentage of people who are planning attacks on Americans. And yet, they’ve done it and continue to do it, and Donald Trump is one of the few who has...

Video at link (1:43) Massive wildfires have been raging throughout Israel. Possibly the worst in its history, they are causing untold amounts of damage. In the meantime, Muslims have been veritably rejoicing on social media about it as we reported several days ago. All that has been needed was direct proof of Muslim involvement. Well, thanks to CCTV Security Cameras, the video proof is in, as in this recently released video shows Muslims setting fires and then running away: Make no mistake, this terrorism by a different form. As we have repeatedly emphasized, terrorism does not have to mean a...

The hand grenade detonated in a car park in the Malmö district of Värnhem early on Sunday morning. The incident, which caused damage to dozens of cars but no injuries, was different from previous blasts, according to police. “Many of the other grenade attacks seemed to be aimed at government buildings,” a police spokesman told Swedish newspaper, Aftonbladet. “But in the area around this detonation site there are private residences, business premises and government agencies. Therefore, the goal of the blast is unclear at present,” the spokesman concluded.

Suspects arrested last weekend in France under anti-terrorism measures had been planning to launch attacks on Dec. 1 at important and landmark sites in and around Paris, according to a source close to the inquiry. Police sources said that among the targets were France's counter-intelligence services hub in the Paris suburb of Levallois-Perret, the grandiose police crime-investigation headquarters at the Quai des Orfevres, and the riverside high court building nearby. Also targeted by the would-be attackers were the Disneyland Paris theme park 32 kilometers (20 miles) east of the city and the Champs Elysees shopping strip.

Belgium has launched new security measures at Brussels Airport after suicide bombings there in March, taking inspiration from controls at Ben Gurion in Israel, among the most heavily protected airports in the world. Islamist suicide bombers killed 16 people and injured over 150 in the departure hall of Brussels Airport on March 22. The bombings were part of a coordinated assault on the Belgian capital’s transport system. Since then, the airport and Belgian government authorities have been working closely on a new security concept. Deputy Prime Minister and Security Minister Jan Jambon traveled to Israel this summer to view...

Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve said the seven people of French, Moroccan and Afghan origin, aged 29 to 37, had been detained on Sunday. Two were arrested in Marseille. Most of the others, he said on Monday, were arrested in Strasbourg - a city where one of oldest and largest Christmas markets is set to open this week. “An attack has been foiled ... The scale of the terrorist threat is enormous and it is not...

Editor’s note: While reports have been gaining lately about both Hezbollah and other Islamic forces being found in Latin America – this is the first (to my knowledge) of actual violence being done. For a report in Spanish of such activity, country by country, read here. Peruvian media outlets accused Hizbullah of being involved in violence and killing a Peruvian citizen during protests staged by locals a few weeks ago, al-Arabiya news website reported Saturday. During demonstrations staged by locals from La Pampa district against government projects, one of the demonstrators was shot and killed. Local media in Peru...

Claims that the atrocities of Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant have “nothing to do with Islam” are harming efforts to confront and combat extremism, the Archbishop of Canterbury has insisted. Religious leaders of all varieties must “stand up and take responsibility” for the actions of extremists who profess to follow their faith, the Most Rev Justin Welby said. He argued that unless people recognise and attempt to understand the motivation of terrorists they will never be able to combat their ideology effectively. It follows calls from a series of high profile figures for people to avoid using...

According the European Commission against Racism and Intolerance (ECRI) — part of the Council of Europe — the British press is to blame for increasing hate speech and racist violence. On October 4, 2016, the ECRI released a report dedicated only to Britain. The report said: some traditional media, particularly tabloids… are responsible for most of the offensive, discriminatory and provocative terminology. The Sun, for instance, published an article in April 2015 entitled “Rescue boats? I’d use gunships to stop migrants”, in which the columnist likened migrants to “cockroaches”… The Sun newspaper has also published inflammatory anti-Muslim headlines, such...

Three Somali-Minnesotan men convicted in May of trying to travel to Syria to fight alongside the Islamic State group received long sentences Wednesday, with prosecutors calling it a “deterrent” to future terrorists. Although the sentences for Mohamed Farah, Abdirahman Daud and Guled Omar were similar, the tone of each hearing was noticeably different. U.S. District Court Judge Michael Davis had especially strong words for Farah and Omar, who were sentenced to 30 years and 35 years, respectively. In Farah’s hearing, Davis rebuked the “litany of lies” that Farah told as well as the community’s response to the case. “There’s no...

Therefore, the Counter Terrorism...

On Sunday, we observed the 15th anniversary of Sept. 11, the deadliest day in United States history. It is said that those who do not learn from history are destined to repeat it. So what have we learned? Absolutely nothing. In fact, rather than learn from the mistakes in our past, we have instead excused them, created false narratives, and exacerbated the problem hundred -fold. We have erected our Freedom Tower in place of the twin towers, we make pilgrimages to the National Sept. 11 Memorial and Museum, and we recall the terror of that day. But the memories are...
